What fear has held you back the most in your life?

Fear is something we all carry, though it shows up differently for each of us. It can keep us safe, but it can also hold us back from opportunities, relationships, and growth. We asked some brilliant members of the community to share the one fear that has shaped their choices the most—and their answers reveal just how universal, yet deeply personal, our struggles with fear really are.

The beautiful thing about me is that I have no fear. Fear equals failure and I’m not going to fail at anything I put my hands to do. I will not fail. Earlier it was the fear of not fitting in. Of being seen as different. I really wish it didn’t take me so long to learn that people’s opinions shouldn’t guide my life and hold me back from doing what I love. That to fit in is to be forgettable. Read more>>
