Today we’d like to introduce you to Anny Hong.
Anny, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am the studio founder of Anny Hong Music Studio, and also a composer for media and film, arranger, and song writer.
I love music very much and have always dreamed of establishing a music studio so that all who want to learn will have the opportunity to get the highest quality of education. I pursued my formal studies in the music capital of the world – Vienna, Austria (a very beautiful city in my opinion). These studies led me to Dallas, Texas where I find the people to be very passionate and outgoing. Since moving, I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to serve as chairperson of the TMTA/PMTA Original Composition Contest, as well as to be able to publish a book in German – “Jay Chou”.
Has it been a smooth road?
I had to study very hard while in school, and having traveled throughout the world, I have had to learn to adapt to new environments. Fortunately, there are many enthusiastic people willing to help me, and I have been able to stay on track. I am very grateful to them!
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Here we provide professional music courses, including piano, violin, singing and composition. These courses are suitable for all ages from children to adult, and provide diversity, flexibility, and a rich music curriculum so that students will be able to work hard and achieve their goals! Regularly the students’ outcomes are shared on the internet through Facebook in order to communicate with each other and the community. Whenever the students are really doing well and earning awards of excellence, I feel particularly proud and moved! I especially like seeing hard working, polite students excel and the persistent parents. Because Music is the lubricant of life. It promotes powerful therapeutic effect. Music is there to heal our soul when needed!
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, our city is a very good place for business because it has a lot of very talented musicians who are willing to try new things. If you are willing to work with everyone that provides you the opportunity, you can start your business in this city. The people here are very kind and greet everyone with warm smiles!
