Meet Hope LeNoir of Rise and Fly LLC in Arlington

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hope LeNoir.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Hope. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
A lot of my journey from when I lost my mom at only a few months after I was born until the moment I clearly know why I’m here, though creepy, is in my book “RUSH.”  It talks about how I began recognizing what my life was about.  In essence, I began to examine my purpose (both professionally and spiritually) and what I was admonished to do with it. This was quite exciting!  What is good about discovering your spiritual and professional purpose is that you began to develop a passion around it and want to build it.

To this end, I work with people who want to expand their lives in a way that impacts others as well as bring more fulfillment to themselves. For example, the people I work with, man or woman, young career seekers or more mature persons, are seeking better performance ratings, a promotion, a good professional “fit” or even greater fulfillment on the job. The most important element I talk about in career coaching is “purpose.”  The greatest result in operating in your career purpose is career fulfillment. Like the man that came to me and said, “I followed the steps you gave me, including talking with my wife and building relationships with the financial consultants you told me about and I’ve already been promoted!”  Or like the woman who said, “Thank you for confirming that me NOT getting hired is NOT about my age. Because of you, I have three job offers.”

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My journey as an entrepreneur and author has been fun, but not necessarily smooth. As I follow my purpose, my passion builds.

As for pursuing my passion, I can’t say the challenge is trying to learn everything about my expertise, because I love what I do. That’s the good thing about knowing your purpose, executing on your purpose and getting to the point where you love what you do.

Not having a consistent assistant has been one of the toughest parts about being an entrepreneur. But why would I? I’m coaching everyone to go bigger into what they are passionate about and purposed to do! LOL! As an author, I realized I had to appreciate and get comfortable with the idea revealing so much of myself to my great audience.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Rise and Fly LLC story. Tell us more about it.
I know I’ve been in the trenches just like my clients have been. I’ve had so many great experiences in several careers. I know there’s a difference from being an assistant producer than being Director of Project Management or teaching classes at a state college. I know what it’s like to introduce a team to AI and new machine learning tools as an option. Know that I will continue to learn and be in a career environment because that’s extra gold I can bring to my clients. That’s actually something I bring differently to the table. I’ve been there AND I’m doing that. In other words, I know the difference physically, mentally, emotionally because I’ve been there. I’ve experienced the hardships, the tears. I’ve experienced the greatness and celebrations. I will continue to have those experiences. That, as well as connecting spiritual purpose with your professional purpose, is what makes me extremely different from other career coaches. This is what helps me give an even better, more exciting level of tools to my clients.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I can’t say I can talk much about luck. I believe in a Higher Power that provides. I also believe in great people who provide great connections. Don’t get me wrong, I also believe there are bad situations that are not what we want them to be. In those situations, I keep believing. And no, that’s not always easy. This is where faith, creativity, drive to get out and learn as well as a fantastic group of friends, family, mentors, coaches, and supporters can help. (Even for introverts like me.)
