Meet Brittney Green of Side by Side Ent.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Green.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve basically grown up in the industry, due to my dad working in the music industry since he was about 20 years old, however, I didn’t really start getting my feet wet until about five years ago when I started managing a local artist. Once I started doing that, I got more into the club scene, music events, award shows, etc. I got offered the opportunity to manage Dj Freestyle Steve (Timbaland & Justin Timberlake official DJ) about three years ago. Still fairly new to the managing scene, I took the opportunity and here we are today.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
A smooth ride in a male-dominated industry… ha, I wish! The biggest struggle as a woman in this industry is getting people to respect you due to the fact that you are a woman.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Side By Side Ent. – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Side by Side Ent. is a management company. We manage artist, DJs, producers, engineers, etc. Our main focus is getting our clients placements, tours, or gigs on a consistent basis.

I am the A&R for Side by Side Ent, and also the manager of Dj Freestyle Steve.

I think what sets us apart is that we have connections with a lot of the big names in the industry.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to build my resume and add more clients to my roster as a manager.

I’m looking forward to expanding my brand and being one of the biggest female managers in the game.
