Today we’d like to introduce you to Regina Fraga.
Regina has over 20 years of hands on experience in the Marketing/Promotions industry. In conjunction with being in executive administration, event coordinating and event planning.
As an alumni of Garland High School (Class of 1994), she went on to Penn Foster Career School to get a Career Diploma as a Graphic Design Artist in 2006. She has had the opportunity to apply her education and hands on experience by planning several events (from corporate events of up to 1,500 people to small scale birthday parties) and create/design a multitude of marketing/promotional products, such as logos, postcards, business cards, newsletters, brochures and more. In addition to helping several small business owners learn how to effectively brand themselves for success!
While being in corporate America for so many years, Regina decided to start her family business, JAR PR Services in July 2011. JAR PR Services now allows her family to service their customer with ALL their marketing and promotional needs, while building a legacy. With this being a family business, Regina wanted the company name to incorporate all their names; that’s how JAR came about! JAR is an acronym of her two children’s names and her name (J: John-Anthony, A: Angelica, R: Regina). Since starting the company, Regina has had the opportunity to build her network, which has opened many doors.
In late 2014 a door led to the expansion of the JAR brand onto the airwaves of Fishbowl Radio Network as JAR Radio. Regina’s love for radio began in 1991 as a co-host on the Jim Evans show on KNON 89.3FM community radio in Dallas, Texas. She was a radio personality and a promoter for over a year and LOVED it! So hosting her own show with her two children was right up her alley! Since starting JAR Radio, Regina has been invited to be a guest on several radio shows, such as the Real Life DFW and the 360 Talk Show, sharing her story as an inspiration to others to never give up no matter what comes your way!
In 2015 another door opened which led to JAR Elite Mgmt. A company that manages Actors, Dancers, and Models despite age, height, size or color! JAR Elite Mgmt. truly believes that there is a JEM in everyone! This door has allowed Regina to follow her passion for fashion, music and people along with giving her the opportunity to pursue styling.
So now you can be Styled by Regina. While styling clients since 2007, Regina has had the opportunity to style for red carpet events, fashion shows, music videos, photoshoots and more! From the clothing to makeup & hair, Regina will have you ready for any occasion!
If all of that wasn’t enough, Regina recently launched a vibrant new magazine called The APPOINTED Magazine. The APPOINTED Magazine covers business, culture, fashion, lifestyle & entertainment. The element that makes this magazine unique is that they feature people from all walks of life, that have been appointed to be at the forefront in their industries. In addition to what’s new, current & upcoming events and more!
Regina Fraga is a compassionate, loving, caring mother who loves PEOPLE! “She will give the shirt off her back to help those in need”, as her family and friends would say. Her life’s motto is also her favorite scripture, which is: I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. – Philippians 4:13 and she is living this out everyday.
As you can see, the sky is the limit for Regina Fraga and you don’t want to miss out on her journey!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road. After working in corporate America for most of my career, not having a consistent flow of income has made things hard at times and hard to get use to. Having a limited budget for marketing and advertising to reach a larger audience of potential clients. Learning to manage my time between work and home has also been hard to manage, but thankfully I’ve been able to better manage it, praise God. Lastly, learning to separate business relationships from personal ones.

JAR has a mission to provide affordable, next level services without lacking in quality. It is a family owned business established in 2011 and consists of 3 companies: JAR PR Service, JAR Radio and JAR Elite Mgmt.
JAR PR Services provides advertising, event planning, marketing, public relations, promotional item creation and more!
JAR Radio provides upcoming music artists, actors, designers, models, business owners and even gamers a platform to promote themselves with global exposure. We also raise awareness for non-profit organizations, such as the Special Olympics and the DBA Foundation. What I’m most proud of is that we have been able to service our clients with integrity and honesty without breaking the bank. Not to mention embracing anyone and everyone that comes to us for services and/or management. We have seen people and businesses transform from starters to growing entities, which is the ultimate reward in doing what we do everyday.
I believe this is also what sets us apart from others by treating everyone with the utmost respect and making everyone feel like part of a family.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success by achieving the goals that I have set for myself. In addition to being obedient when led by the Lord to do something new in business and/or for individuals.
My criteria/markers are seeing lives change because of the things I have done for others on a daily basis. I don’t base my criteria on money I make, it’s solely on lives changed.
