Today we’d like to introduce you to Mobeen Mian.
Mobeen, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I always been about inspiration. From being a competitive boxer to starting my own motivational brand, and being a full-time student about to graduate college, its obvious that life has many obstacles which we face on the daily. And it’s not easy to get through, though it is always important to think positive in every situation, whether we take a loss or not, we live for another day that has just as many opportunities waiting for us. It’s important to think positive and have the right intentions to what we do. I hope that through my boxing, brand, and education, I can continue to portray a positive message and help others do the same
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being able to keep my focus. There’s a lot of distractions to look out for once you set your mind toward a goal. It’s not easy, but it has to be tunnel vision the whole way until!
Please tell us about #FOCUSEDDD.
Being a student, community youth leader, and boxer, it’s important to stay positive through every loss or failure, and once you learn to overcome that, it only makes you stronger. My brand #FOCUSEDDD simply started with an idea of inspiring others to stay focused in every situation, while looking for that “Desire, Dedication, and Devotion” within us. (the 3 D’s). The company itself specializes in services such as photography, videography, events, sports sponsorships, clothing, and social media marketing. And every project through the brand has a positive message behind it.
And being a Youth coordinator in the Minhaj Ul Quran community center in Dallas, I have been public speaking since I was about nine years old. I’ve always enjoyed speaking. I feel like this skill itself has helped me get out of my comfort zone and communicate with others more effectively. Being able to involve new people in my projects and watching them succeed is a great feeling.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Moving to Dallas when I was eight years old.
