Today we’d like to introduce you to Jolie Barrios.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jolie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I decided to dive into real estate because I wanted a career that would offer self-fulfillment through helping others. After five years, and a lot of hard work, I am proud to say that I am currently a top-producing agent with CLAY STAPP + CO and having my most successful year to date!
Has it been a smooth road?
There is no such thing as a smooth road in real estate! I always tell people looking into this field that being a realtor is a lifestyle, not a 9-5 job. The time I’ve spent in real estate has been challenging at times, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. The relationships I’ve made along the way and the opportunity to be part of such a special moment in someone’s life is what keeps my love for real estate alive.
My advice for other women starting their journey is to work as hard as you possibly can and exhaust all opportunities. Another thing I have learned is how crucial it is to surround yourself with as many motivated and inspiring people as you can. My family, friends, and mentors have impacted me in such a positive way, always helping me brainstorm and build my business. A support system like that is invaluable in so many ways.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with CLAY STAPP + CO – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I’m a residential real estate agent with CLAY STAPP + CO. I help my clients buy, sell, and lease single-family homes, or find the perfect apartment home! I work all over the DFW metroplex and specialize in working with first time home buyers. Buying your first home can be such an intimidating process, and I am dedicated to giving my clients the time and attention they need. I believe in helping to educate each client every step of the way and this proven method yields long term success for my clients. I am so proud to help all my clients reach their perfect home goals!
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
The most important piece of advice I could give is to continuously invest in yourself!
Take advantage of all educational resources, strive to always grow your experience level, and elevate your brand through strategic networking and pursuing opportunities that will benefit you. Always shine your strengths and challenge yourself to improve weaknesses. Finally, use all of this to create a dynamic social profile and resume so that your clients will trust and admire your efforts!
