Meet Justin Stringfellow

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Stringfellow.

Justin, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I became interested in DJ after attending a Meltdown Music Festival in 2012. One of the headliners was Flux Pavilion and he totally killed it! I was so impressed by his performance that I immediately went home and googled: “How to be a DJ”. That is what kickstarted my DJ career.

I started playing music in front of people in College at UNT, I mostly focused on EDM and Hip Hop music. As my passion for DJing continued to grow, I was looking for more ways to make it a full-time job. In 2016 I joined LeForce Entertainment, an entertainment company that focuses on providing DJs & Lighting for events across DFW.

After three years at LeForce, I have continued to work hard and provide top-notch entertainment to all my clients across DFW. I try to capture my life as a DJ on Instagram to help showcase my life and my style to future clients!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There has, and there will always be obstacles.

In college, it was really hard to grow as a DJ, while also having to go to school full time and work 2 jobs. But I somehow managed to make it work, though with little to no sleep.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
LeForce Entertainment, we are an entertainment company that specializes in throwing awesome parties across DFW! We strive to make it easy for you to find a professional DJ without the hassle searching forever online. We have over 25 DJs on our roster that have been trained to go to your event and completely kill it!

I am most proud of the fact that LeForce is not only a great company to work for, but its also a great family to be a part of. Every single member of the LeForce team is so supportive of each other and pushes one another to be the best the can possibly be.

What sets us apart is our foundation as a company. We have a separate division for sales and production that run independently from our DJs. This allows our DJs to only worry about their events and throwing an awesome party, and not having to worry about anything else.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Of course, I have had mentors along the way! Glenn Roush is the founder and CEO of LeForce and I worked for him as a DJ assistant when I first started. He showed me so much that I didn’t know about the event industry and mentored me on how to be a better DJ/MC. He is also a great leader for our LeForce family! Whenever we come to him with a vision or a new idea, he is always on board and ready to take on the next challenge with us!

Nate Nelson and Dom Nagella are also very inspirational people to me. They have both pushed me to be a better DJ and have made me want to step up my game both at my events and on social media! These guys really know how to throw a party and I strive to get on their level someday!
