Goddess, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Well, I’m a Dallas, Texas native and music has always been apart of my life. It started from me sitting in the living room with my family making beats and rapping creating my own rhymes. That journeyed me to sing in school and writing songs in my free time. So, my early obsessions where mostly theater and choir.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. But I appreciate the process because it rebirths new versions of you after each lesson. Most of my struggles were myself internalizing and learning how to show it in my work.
Please tell us about your work.
I am a singer/songwriter. I call myself a conscious creator due to my ability to write about life and tie them into a storyline. I’m most known for my live performances and the rawness you receive in person versus on a record.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Uniqueness. It places you in a more visible lane versus following the status quote.
