Today we’d like to introduce you to Robyn Square.
Robyn, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a proud Air Force Veteran and I worked in the insurance industry for seven years. I have always loved serving communities and families, especially mothers.
I decided to take a chance and received the proper licensing to pursue my passion for helping moms feel beautiful and giving them the break they deserve.
I always wondered why is Mother’s Day once a year, what about the other days of the year? Being a mother does not stop and many moms truly forget to make time for themselves.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There is no such thing as a smooth road as a business owner, at any level. My biggest obstacle was making the choice to abandon my comfort zone and allowing people to get to know me.
PS Traveling Spa – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
PS Traveling Spa is a mobile spa that offers professional, therapeutic skincare and massage. We will travel to home, hotel, or office.
What sets us apart from other spas is our mission for each client:
1. We bring CONVENIENCE by offering in home spa days and spa parties
2. We bring COMFORT with our touch and we all feel safest in our home.
3. We bring CONFIDENCE at the end of each session. We want to gently remind each mom that you were a woman before you were a mom. Remember to make yourself a priority.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I completed a massage session with a mom who was traveling for a job opportunity. After the session, she asked me for a hug. Absolutely! She then shared with me this was the first time she had been away from her 3-year old son since he was born. I loved that I could comfort her and help relieve some of her stress in that moment.
