Today we’d like to introduce you to Manuel Diaz.
Manuel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’m a native of Mexico City and was raised in Brownsville, Texas. Before founding the Manuel Diaz Law Firm in Dallas, I worked as a corporate attorney with a top U.S.-based international law firm and was a partner at a boutique litigation firm. I earned a Juris Doctor Degree at the SMU Dedman School of Law and received an undergraduate degree cum laude from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
The Manuel Diaz Law Firm has grown to represent the Hispanic community in the areas of civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, immigration and personal injury. Our team currently includes 19 lawyers and 49 other professionals. We have offices in Dallas, Ft. Worth, and San Antonio.
Has it been a smooth road?
There have been numerous struggles along the road. A few have been maintaining a healthy work-life balance; managing a growing law practice and workforce; managing the responsibilities of a law practice as well as those of a business owner, and managing to successfully represent individuals that are going through life-altering events.
Please tell us about your business.
The Manuel Diaz Law Firm is committed to providing the highest quality legal representation and exceptional client service for a reasonable fee. We represent clients across various practice areas, including civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, immigration, and personal injury. We believe that our values set us apart. Our core values are:
1. Treating others the way you would like your closest loved one to be treated;
2. Maintaining a positive mental attitude; and
3. Going above and beyond.
I am most proud of our team. Our most valuable asset is the people who make up our firm.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
It is a thriving city. There are many opportunities for professional development. It has much to offer in cultural, sports, and entertainment activities, It also has excellent restaurants. On the other hand, it would be great to have less traffic.
