Today we’d like to introduce you to Codi Fuller.
Codi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Well originally, I wanted to start a swimwear line, however I felt that the market was just really oversaturated. Then, I started seeing Crystal body jewelry all over the internet!! I felt like that was so different and fun and had an unmatched sex appeal! I knew that I could figure out how to do it!
So I did my research and spent weeks learning to make pieces and learning all about crystal and jewelry-making then spent months perfecting the craft of making Crystal body jewelry. From there, Shop Gloss began!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been the easiest! Shop Gloss is a luxury brand so figuring out our target market and how to reach them has been a journey lol! But no matter what, it’s been so much fun! I’ve sold merchandise that I learned to hand make on my own! I’ve styled celebrities in my pieces for photoshoots and had the chance to create and direct my own content and website for a brand that I built! I don’t take that lightly.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Shop Gloss story. Tell us more about the business.
So, Shop Gloss is a luxury body jewelry company. We specialize in sultry Swarovski Crystal body jewelry. We are known for our Showgirl Crystal Bralette and Bikini Bottom set which is the design of a typical bikini set, only made with Swarovski Crystal instead. Everything is handmade and designed by me, never bought and resold and that’s what we take pride in the most. What sets us apart is that there’s very few brands out there that are doing what we do at such a high quality! We love creating each piece specifically for the customer!
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck, I believe that everything is destined and that God is ordering our steps to take us closer to our purpose. I was blessed to have a large following on social media and I’ve been able to use that platform to my advantage to inspire, persuade and motivate others. I think that is a blessing or “good luck” lol. My social media following and all the marketing skills that I’ve attained from growing my own personal brand over the years has been part of the reason Shop Gloss has been able to grow so exponentially and I’m grateful for that.
