Meet Leigh Ann Vernon of The Producer’s Lounge in Addison

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leigh Ann Vernon.

Leigh Ann, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
The Producer’s Lounge was opened in 2007 with one ambitious goal in mind – to create unforgettable experiences through creative media and live events. Over the past decade, we have expanded into a much larger studio location and grown the team to include all facets of video and live event production from concept through completion – all under one roof.

Has it been a smooth road?
The video & live event production business is inherently challenging, but also immensely rewarding. The constant evolution of technology has benefited our industry immeasurably, but also created the impression that “anyone with an iPhone camera and a laptop” can become an instant video producer. The upside? This is a really fun business!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Producer’s Lounge – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Producer’s Lounge is unique in our brand of “edu-taining” and unexpected, often irreverent, corporate videos and events. Whether it’s a sales meeting for 1,000 of the top company performers or a luxury travel symposium in the heart of fabulous Las Vegas, we pride ourselves on thinking through every single element and making it as fun, informative and creative as possible. When the audience walks away, we want them to remember what they heard and saw for years to come.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
As a native Texan, I have a deep love for Dallas. There’s no other place I’d rather have grown up, raised a family or started a business. The people are friendly, the weather is beautiful (a little warm sometimes but better than too cold) and you just can’t beat Tex-Mex and BBQ.

In fact, our city is so inviting that we’re a top draw for people from all over the rest of the country and the world. And who can blame them? The only real downside? All that traffic.
