Meet Erin Waller of BWFwoman in Plano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Waller.

Erin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Uncovering what women need to thrive in life became my specialty when I encountered one of the most difficult challenges in my life – a divorce from my college sweetheart that left me reeling almost ten years ago. I went on a self-discovery journey and had what I describe as a love-encounter with God. I began meditating and teaching other women how to meditate, and through that process of sitting in stillness, quietly reconnecting, and journaling the pockets of revelation I encountered, I documented a healing process and named it BWFwoman – which stands for Beautiful, Wild, Freewoman. It’s our divine right as women to live each day beautiful, wild and free.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has been challenging in many ways, but I believe the challenges have brought opportunities the way that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. When I had to relocate to Dallas for my job as a single mother, taking my children with me – I left my community support behind. I began building a new community here in Dallas, speaking to groups of women about meditation and healing and was asked to contribute to an eWomen’s Network collaborative book, where I shared my story and the book became an Amazon bestseller on its release! Every challenge has been rewarded.

Please tell us about BWFwoman.
BWFwoman is a platform that helps women see themselves the way God sees them – without blinders, without judgement, and without a doubt. Simply pure love and light. I speak to audiences of women around the country about how to heal, forgive and release emotional baggage. I help them develop a new language – one of positive words and affirmative thoughts, and many of my community members have literally altered the course of their lives as a result. I’ve written books, and am most proud of my community of 21,000 followers on Instagram and my Facebook group. We’ve created friendships and support systems between women who didn’t believe they could alter their lives and now have the resources – and most of all – the belief to do so.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I honestly give the credit to God. If I hadn’t had understood that I was looking at myself in such a harsh way, judging everything and operating in perfectionism, I would’ve never walked into the truth about myself that I am worthy of love and being love. That I am beautiful just as I am. I now operate from a belief that if I ask, I will receive, and it’s simple as that. I know how to manifest change in my life, and it brings me experience to lead other women down this path as well!
