Meet Joe Robinett of The Robinett Team in Addison

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joe Robinett.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Joe. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Growing up in East, TX, I lived through my family’s financial ups and downs and even through the difficult times when my Father had to close down his business that I also worked at during high school and my first two years of college. It was those experiences and a personal finance class that sparked my interest in exploring opportunities within the financial services industry.

I took a job with a big bank right out of college, launching my career and have never looked back. After experiencing some success early on and navigating through different roles, I ended up in the mortgage origination space back in 2005. The two defining moments in my career was when the during ‘mortgage meltdown’ and making the decision to leave my role with the big banks for building my own book of business in the local real estate community and committing to bring my clients a professional mortgage experience and the advice they need to experience success within their own finances.

Today as a Mortgage Advisor, our mission is to provide homeowners and prospective homeowners with a consultative and service-based approach to the mortgage lending process focusing on superior service, quality, and integrity. We believe in clarity and transparency, giving our clients full confidence in their decision to buy a home or refinance.

There are so many myths about the home buying process and we want to dispel those myths and bring truth. Many young people who are coming out of college remember what their parents went through during the last financial crisis and many are hesitant to get back into home-ownership after losing their homes. We are committed to serving those and reinstilling confidence in the American dream of owning a home.

With over 15 years of experience in financial services and responsible lending, Joe has been the recipient of numerous industry awards including ‘D Best Mortgage Professional’ and ‘Five Star Mortgage Professional’ and has the ability to partner with you in achieving successful home-ownership. The Robinett Team’s experience combined with the Mid America Mortgage’s operational excellence enables us to provide best in class service to our clients and our network of business partners.

Personally, Joe is a graduate of Kilgore College and Stephen F. Austin State University, where Joe studied business and marketing. Joe is married, has two sons and is an active member of his community and a local church. Joe enjoys servant leadership in various leadership roles along with reading, many sports, endurance athletics including marathons, triathlons, ultra-marathons, CrossFit, and Entrepreneurship.

Joe understands a home is an important investment, one that requires a trusted partner to work through the lending process quickly and effectively. The Robinett Team is honored to earn the privilege to serve you in reaching your home-ownership and financial goals. Our services are referral based and the service doesn’t end after the transaction is complete, we work to build a long term relationship that you and anyone you refer can come to rely on for all future residential lending needs.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road! Navigating during mortgage meltdown was a turning point in my career. That era was devastating for so many homeowners and families and it led to me completing revamping my approach to the mortgage lending process. There is so much more to the mortgage process than just getting a loan approved or the rate which is how most loan officers approach their business. Making the decision to break away from the big banks and focus on giving the best advice and a great mortgage experience is very important.
