Ney’ tiri, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I fully transitioned and started my spiritual journey in August- September when me and my husband separated. I feel as if he triggered my growth. At that point, I had no one couldn’t run from fears. I couldn’t do anything but figure out how to better myself become a better mom, a better woman and a businesswoman. Sometimes we put too much energy and time into others. We don’t realize how much we as humans abandon ourselves, especially us women.
Once you fall in love with yourself their game is over. Calvin Richardson’s book “ Do You Without Them “ helps certain parts of my self esteem and faith itself period it opened up certain aspects over loving myself and getting to know self and moving at my own pace and not someone else’s. Learning to take those bad days and appreciate them. flowers do bloom in dark rooms just believe it have faith and nurture dark situations not just the light.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m 22yrs old I can say for the most part starting my business and creating my natural organic Hāus & fully transitioning spiritual has been a roller coaster ride but it’s a ride I don’t ever want to get off. A lot of things I’ve been through may have been sad may have hurt & even bruised me but I am now healing, I’m learning the proper way to heal and show myself self love and proper self care. Those hard times built my character. I’m here to perfect it and live like those hard times never mattered not dwell on the past and hold myself back. I wanted to change for once and not sympathy. I wanted to grow and be at peace not be seen and heard all the time. Let’s say I battled with my old self and outgrew every toxic and negative behavior to be where I am aware and alert of things that aren’t the norm.
Please tell us about The Hāus Of Melanin & Manifestation.
I have a natural organic business called “the Hāus of melanin and manifestation “I came up with that name because I do a lot of things. Massages, Facials, Readings & sell my products at the same time one day I was sitting down meditating and spirit gave me Hāus. Ever since then, I stuck with it melanin means a dark brown to black pigment. I chose this because I’m reaching out more so to help and uplift those of color that suffer from depression anxiety, social anxiety. We suffer from a lot of things and it’s being promoted on social media as normal for instance, “being toxic “a lot of things that should be corrected or helped is being praised and congratulated for many of the wrong things. Manifestation, when you manifest it, ’s just like praying speaking things into existence, the tongue is powerful. When you speak something you are putting that into the universe, the universe hears you be very direct and detailed about what you manifest. Manifesting has so much power behind it, so I promote it like such so that everybody can see where I came from how and what tools I use. that’s when it’s all just fell together “the Hāus of melanin & manifestation. “
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Favorite memory as a child. Hmph, I would say riding horses with my cousin we call him “Khiry “I would go out muck the stalls ride the horses and be free. I’m a mature person and then I was very young so at that time, I was very appreciative and happy I remember taking A.R test in the library over horses wanting to learn so much because it was like my getaway place my “sacred “place I would say.
