I started making music when I was eight years old on flstudio three and it’s been my passion ever since. I started out as only a producer making beats for my cousin. I started rapping at 13 doing talent competition shows in school. Unfortunately I never won but I always loved being on stage and that’s when I knew music was my way out. Everything that’s happened to me in my career good or bad I’ve learned and grew from as a brand and an artist. I started my own record label in 2017 BIG214 Entertainment and since then I’ve released multiple singles, EP’s, and mixtapes. I’ve worked with premier producers like Pierre Bourne Dj YoungKash to name a few. My work ethic is like a machine and I unconditionally love what I do it’s the reason I’m still going. It fuels me to go hard every day for my family and myself.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been a tough journey but not tough enough. I’ve been signed and shelved before. I’ve been betrayed, lied to and some people have tried to use me. I take responsibility for all things I’ve been through. I’ve learned to keep myself in a position to harness my career. I treat my L’s as lessons instead of losses and that has made me grow even more as an artist.
Please tell us about your music.
BIG214 Entertainment is the record label that started in 2017 fully owned by me. Currently, as of April 2020, we are still growing, building and adding the pieces to the puzzle, creating what is soon to be a powerhouse record label. I do it all; producing, recording, mixing/mastering, shooting my videos and editing graphics, and creating my marketing techniques to build my fam base. I address my fans as my fam instead of fans.
