Today we’d like to introduce you to Denzel Brown.
Denzel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It all started when I was 20 (now 26) I just transferred back home (Toledo, Ohio) from Grambling State University studying graphic design. My good friend Gerald had a camera and let me start borrowing his Canon t3i to shoot my friend Meko (artist) and just getting started with Robert Easter Jr. and a few personal shoots at the time.
After a while of shooting, I became in love with making content for others and helping others bring their vision to life. Fast forward to 2020, I’ve currently been living in Dallas, TX for about four years now and I focus on beauty, fashion/lifestyle, and boxing photography. Another thing that people really don’t know is, is that I also do videography for my clients as well when asked. I mainly focus on promo/recap videos for athletes and djs. P.S. I’m a graphic designer as well.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been smooth for the most part, the biggest thing for me was starting over when I moved to Dallas, TX.
