Today we’d like to introduce you to Keeiona Lynn.
Keeiona, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My story starts with heartbreak and discovery, which birthed the name of my first project titled “finding myself”. An Ep dedicated to not only finding my sound but to finding who I was as a newly sprouted woman. The passion for music has always resided in me. I’ve went from being in many musicals and being a musical theatre major to releasing and recording my own songs with my own sound.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing Great comes easy. My biggest struggle has been gaining the confidence I have today. Not always has it been smooth for me hoping on stage performing… especially MY OWN songs!
But the more and more I engulf myself in the passion, and people that are passionate about music as well, the more and more I gain an invincible mindset screaming “I belong”.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I am a singer/songwriter. What sets me apart is the humility and the knowledge that I am apart of something bigger. Yeah, my sound is beautiful, I am a gorgeous woman, but I know that triumph does not come alone. It takes a village. I am not afraid to unite for a bigger cause.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Releasing my FIRST EP! The whole roll-out was amazing from video shoots to shows… it was amazing!
