Meet Bailey Armendarez of Wildly You Strategy and Design in Decatur

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bailey Armendarez.

Bailey, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have a whole blog post about it! https://www.wildlyou.com/blog/why-i-needed-a-rebrand

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I’m very open about the struggles and challenges of owning a creative business and being an entrepreneur. I started very young and knew that my journey wouldn’t be typical. Many of the challenges we face are just apart of the learning curve. You learn that time is money, but time is something you can’t get back.

Learning to say no, owning your worth, and being customer-oriented are the most valuable things I have learned, but that hasn’t come without some hard lessons, unhappy customers. Or losing money. It’s all apart of owning a business.

We’d love to hear more about your work.

What were you like growing up?
I was a four-sport athlete, involved in clubs, and took college classes. I was always busy, but I’ve always been driven. I have always loved connecting with people and creating valuable experiences. I have always had a wide variety of interests and very involved. I also feel like my personality has been pretty true to form since I was young. I was the “bossy” one in elementary, and have always been in situations to develop my leadership skills.
