Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmin Baylor.
Jasmin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I first started my journey as an Esthethician through Make-up! I started out as a Make-Up Artist in Shreveport, LA in 2014. I was influenced by a dear friend and co-worker of mine. We decided to start our journey as estheticans together in 2015. I then realized this might be my soul purpose because I love encouraging women by helping them express confidence through everyday life. As women, we face challenges everyday and if I can give a boost of positive energy while making my clients feel beautiful, I feel like I’ve accomplished something.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been all glitter and rainbows. I will say that I have a strong support system and a circle of friends and family that have encouraged me along the way. It is so important to protect your energy and also put out positive energy in order to receive your blessings. I journal daily, meditate and pray on my life because without faith, I won’t have direction. Our words are powerful so speaking my goals into existence has helped me tremendously. Thoughts become a reality.

With over five years of experience as a licensed esthetician, I have turned my passion into my career. I love being able to empower others through the power of make-up. I enjoy teaching others how to apply, buy and wear make-up. As an esthetician, I am also passionate about the overall health of my client’s skin. My passion for skincare led to the birth of my Skincare Line, The Beauty Stop LLC. I do my best to make every experience pleasant for each of my clients. It is my hope that my passion for aesthetics is shown through my work ethic, my drive for success, and my hunger for growth. I specialize in Make-up, Eyelashes, Waxing, Brows and Facials!
I’m most known for my FAST, efficient, flawless, skin-like make-up application. I am most proud of my JOURNEY as an esthetician! I took a risk, believed in myself and took a leap of faith, believing that my talent will take me places I could only imagine. What sets me apart from others will be my consistency and thoughtful customer service. I take pride in making my clients comfortable and confident. I fulfill excellent results while giving my clients an experience they will never forget!
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood would be playing dress-up in my mother’s clothes, shoes and make-up while she was away at work. I would make sure I remembered where she kept everything so she wouldn’t notice anything out of place. I would walk down the hallway of our home, pretending I was a fashion model during fashion week in New York.
