Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Crake.
Logan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My husband and I loved taking pictures and making sweet little videos of our travels. We got asked to do a wedding video in 2017 by a close friend with the remainder of their budget… which wasn’t much. However, we were so excited to step into the wedding world. After that, it took off like wildfire. With the first year, we had six weddings booked, hopping into the 20-30 range the next. Fast forward a few years later, my husband stays home with our one-year-old while I am spending my weekends at weddings all over Texas. We recently hit a lot of milestones in the business, including a huge publication feature at a big wedding blog.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think the biggest struggle we have had was finding the “right” industry for us. I grew up in San Antonio, so a lot of our inquires were from friends that are getting married in big brown barns with cowboy boots on but I knew this just wasn’t for me. Don’t get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this type of wedding, but for me personally, I wasn’t inspired. I am inspired by the unique, colorful, light-filled weddings that were hard to find sometimes!

We are a wedding photography and videography company! We specialize in classic, romantic, and colorful weddings in Dallas, Austin, and Destinations. We’re known for being a fun but professional husband and wife team that works great together and makes every wedding day memorable. I’m proud that we get to create these heirlooms for each couple, whether in photo or video form for each couple’s family to see for years and years to come. How exciting is that!?
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I think my favorite memory has to be from my teen years and visiting the Grand Canyon for the first time. I was in AWE of the world and knew I had to find something in my life that allowed me to travel more… fast forward about ten years later and I own my own business with the ability to travel for personal experience and for work!
