Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Coffer Sr.
Hi Christopher, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
First and foremost, give all praise to the most high. Allow me to induce you to my children and business partners Christopher Jr, Christion, Christianna, Christina, Christal, Christian, Keerstin, Christavuis, Marcel, Jeremiah and Christof Coffer. Together we form Coffer Enterprise. After being in and out the system, working dead-end jobs. Living check to check. On the verge of becoming another statistic I decided to use the same skill set that kept me in trouble time and time again to my benefit and venture into entrepreneurship. I started Chosen Scents & Gifts. From car wash to barber shops, from Walmarts to family dollars parking lots, from Texas to Louisiana any where people gather I was there pushing my products for about a year and a half until I was able to secure my first location at Redbird Mall, which have since been relocated to The Parks Mall at Arlington. And I’ve also been able to add Chosen Mobile (Auto Detail), CRE (Transportation Service) and United Culture (Clothing Line) to the long list of growing businesses of the Coffer Enterprise Legacy.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, nothing never always smooth. And as for my challenges, I will say the biggest thing for me is having patience and staying positive through the adversity times. You know, there’s always the financial problems, building your clientele, supply issues, networking. Honestly, it will be a daily challenge. I’m a entrepreneur. I can only focus on what I can control and let the rest work itself out. That’s all any of us can really do.
