Life & Work with Jared Bolton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jared Bolton.

Hi Jared, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
So I recently moved here from Mississippi, like three years ago. I’m a bass guitarist and have been playing for ten years. Every since I moved here to Dallas, I’ve been focusing more in modeling. I got into modeling by default while doing a shoot with some family back in Mississippi. After that shoot, I put together a portfolio, and then boom, people started reaching out with wanting to do work with me. So I pretty much do music and model for a living. Also, traveling.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Ehhhh, it’s definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I remember someone stealing one of my pictures and started selling merchandise with my pics on it without my consent. Also, of course, haters were in and out of the way. One incident, this young lady that’s a well-known influencer here in Dallas told me that I took trash pictures, and that was the best motivation I ever had. From that moment, I’ve just been seen greatness every since.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a director of an equality firm, I model and do music (musician.)
