Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathryn Davidson.

Kathryn, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As a busy mom, I found it tiring to find an easy to work with and trustworthy maid service to help free up the time and energy I’d rather spend with my husband and daughter. I decided that there had to be a better way to provide this service while at the same time making an impact in my community. It seemed like every company I called wanted me to be home, so they could meet me for an estimate or wait for a quote and I thought other people probably had the same frustration.

Then, one day I found a way to make the booking, communication and follow up quick and painless for anyone. I also realized, how I could use this service to give back and create a company that treats their employees like the rock stars they are! Today, HappyLife is proud to serve those who want a helping hand around the home. We also look forward to donating cleaning services to families dealing with medical issues who need a clean and sterile home environment or simply need relief.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Anyone who has started a small business can tell you it’s not always a smooth road. Learning the market, what works, what doesn’t work is all part of the process. I stay motivated knowing that the cleaning services we provide allow people more free time to spend with their families or enjoying the activities they love.

HappyLife Cleaning – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
HappyLife Cleaning is a residential cleaning company that services Collin County and surrounding areas. We are Frisco based and family owned. Aside from upfront pricing and 60-second online booking, we offer standard cleanings, deep cleanings, and move in/move out cleanings for our clients. I’m most proud of the caring and compassionate culture we have toward our clients and team members.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Knowing that what I am doing is helping others lead a happier and healthier life is my definition of success. Our measure of success is having a business that creates a positive impact on our team members, clients, and our local community every day.
