Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Green.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Christian. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am the proud owner of GRNWRKS Media (pronounced “Green Works Media”). I was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. Therefore, I am very familiar with the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a deep passion for photography and videography. As a young child, I was intrigued by how visuals, such as photos and videos, could evoke different reactions in people as opposed to just speaking. I would run around my neighborhood with friends and film whatever we were doing; riding bikes, playing basketball, etc. It rarely was anything spectacular but it helped me to develop my own sense of how I viewed the world around me through my camera lens. My passion continued to intensify as I grew older. I knew, I wanted to pursue that passion so, I attended Baylor University to earn my B.A. degree in Film & Digital Media. Shortly afterwards, graduating with Cum Laude honors in May 2014, I created GRNWRKS Media. My company has been happily providing professional media services (both photo and video) ever since. I strive to create videos and photos that will evoke action and emotion.
In addition to my love of media production, I am a huge sports fan. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me cheering on the Baylor Bear basketball team or my hometown favorite the Dallas Mavericks.
Has it been a smooth road?
Overall, I have been extremely pleased with the continued growth and success of GRNWRKS Media over the past three and a half years. However, as 99% of small business owners can attest, there have definitely been bumps along the way. One of the main struggles I had to initially overcome was proving myself to potential clients in both my level of skill and quality of work. For every “Yes” I received from a new client, there were ten “No’s”. It certainly was challenging at times but I knew, I had something special to offer and that kept me going.

GRNWRKS Media provides a variety of professional videography and photography services to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth, TX areas. We handle a wide range of project demands including corporate marketing videos, college recruitment promos, commercial/residential real estate media and almost everything in between. We also offer professional aerial photo and video and are FAA certified to operate our drones. We are proud to offer our services at a competitive price that keeps our clients (and their budgets) happy. One aspect that separates GRNWRKS Media apart from other media production companies is the quality of service we provide to all of our clients. I personally work on and am involved in every project that we handle so, when you work with us you know that I will be there every step of the way. Our quality of service is one of the things we are known for and I take great pride in that. Anybody can market him or herself and shoot out hundreds of emails or make countless cold calls but to have a client refer someone to you through word-of-mouth really speaks highly of your service and work.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think Dallas is a great location for small businesses like mine. There is so much opportunity out there, you just have to be dedicated and determined enough to find it.
