Natthiya, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Plano is my second home. I have been in Plano almost 2 years. I believed that cosmetics has always been a part of women. That’s inspiring me to build my business. I married Sarawut in 2016. He’s my loving partner, always beside me and supports me for everything.
Before I started my business, I worked in auditing and accounting for 7 years in Thailand. My work is related to businesses and my dreams were I want to be an entrepreneur. I’m very fascinated about eyelashes. It’s making ladies be much more beautiful when they put them on. Actually, I am a woman who does not like to wear makeup and I don’t like to wear false lashes because I feel it’s not comfortable. Once I saw my friends were wearing false eyelashes, they’re very adorable with beautiful eyes. I also watched beauty blogger on YouTube channel. They are all made up professionally and they are so gorgeous. This’s my passion to set up my branding of false lashes that provide soft, comfortable and look natural lashes.
I started researching about false eyelashes information such as materials, styles, how to wear false eyelashes and customer review from many resources. I’m working hard to study of false lashes for a year to ensure that my products are high quality, unharmed products and satisfied customer.
Dandy Eyelashes was established about the end of the year 2017. I had so much fun to develop my products to get more different styles. Soon, I was launching gorgeous false lashes on my website and absolutely Dandy Eyelashes has shipped worldwide from Plano, Texas!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
A business is like a life journey. It’s an endless task and we never know what’s will be happening in our life. My business was definitely not smooth but I always think positive and learn the experience to resolve the problem. I think it’s not the struggles, but it’s opportunities to adapt and make the business grow up. I’m grateful to keep every opportunity to improve my business in the future.
Absolutely, starting with business is not easy and it’s not a smooth road, but it doesn’t mean we are going to fail in business. That’s a great experience to be successful as well as we have the passion for it. I would highly recommend new entrepreneurs that don’t fear failure and don’t give up. Dandy Eyelashes is definitely my passion company. We honestly care about our customers with providing high-quality products. We are really proud of the materials that we use in our products. All of our products are handcraft and made from 100% cruelty-free synthetic fibers because we care about how animals are treated and care of human eyes area. We provide false lashes with different styles and focus on natural style, soft and comfortable to wear. Also, Dandy Eyelashes can be reused up to 6 times with proper care. Our products are realized by creating less waste and saving our customers more money.
We want to make more different styles of lashes which it could be an option for customers to choose false lashes and appropriate to their eyes shape, also we want to encourage customers to buy the cruelty-free products.
The thing that set me apart from others is the natural styles of lashes. I think my products are very close to eyelash extensions or human eyelashes, also suitable for all eyes shape even person who has small eyes shape like me. Our products are the perfect false lashes for everyone and everyday look.
Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
I lived in Thailand as a child. I am the first daughter in my family and I have two younger sisters. I grew up in a big family that loved to celebrate all the special occasion days. In my favorite memories, I love to read the Japanese comic book. I went to the comic store every week; I bought and collected many books. I was joyful when I read it. I chose my business name’s Dandy. It came from the character of my Japanese comic’s book. The important thing to inspire me to be successful in my life is my parents. They always support me to cheer up for doing everything. I’m so lucky. I have a great family, lovely husband and best friend who always encourages me to be successful.
