Meet LaJune King of photosbyLJK in Frisco

Today we’d like to introduce you to LaJune King.

LaJune, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Well, believe it or not, I despised my wedding photos. I was new to having professional portraiture taken, so I was unaware of skin toning and DSLRs. I slowly pushed my way in the world of photography and grew to absolutely love it. I’ve been shooting for a while and love LOVE, Belly Bumps, and Family Portraiture. I also have a women empowerment campaign called Know Your Beautiful™. Here we empower teens and women to love themselves as they are – OWNING their bodies and insecurities. They are given beautiful images to love for years to come.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been tough. I’ve been trying to create a community were other photographers can ask questions without being shunned away or ask for compensation. Not everything requires payment. Treat people like Chicfila treats us. If I can assist with any shortcuts, I will.

Creating my workflow and rebranding myself is what took the longest. It’s not just about a logo or colors and fonts. I feel as though giving myself professionally and personally to my clients, they will trust my process and love their results.

So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the photosbyLJK story. Tell us more about the business.
photosbyLJK, LLC is a female photographer based in Frisco, Texas. She specializes in family, love, belly bump, senior moments, and portraits. She shoots using natural light. You’ll receive the Ultimate Experience with LaJune. She is mostly known for her “FUNfessional” experience with each client. LaJune is most proud of being able to be herself and clients loving every piece of her. What sets her apart from other photographers is that she provides services to families who look like hers. A professional environment with an added splash of glitter and confetti.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We’d love to move into commercial photography. photosbyLJK, LLC is a 3-man crew. We’d love to move into a studio space for in-person gallery viewings.
