Today we’d like to introduce you to Nida Rehman.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Nida. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my journey in a small town called Wagga Wagga (yes it’s a real place… down under in Australia) where I got my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. I have always had a strong interest in Creative Arts and Photography so my degree was a natural fit.
Right after graduating, I was fortunate to find a great job working in a newspaper organization where I had the opportunity to design magazines and advertisements. It taught me a lot about interacting with clients.
Soon after I moved to Dallas Texas to start a new life with my husband. He gave me a Canon DSLR camera for my birthday. (If you are wondering what kind it was not a full frame body, what can I say my husband is the frugal kind, love ya babe!).
Anyways, that’s where my journey with photography really began. What started as a hobby has blossomed into a well-recognized wedding photography enterprise beyond my wildest dreams.
I hope this awesome journey allows me to continue meeting many more warm people that I would not had an opportunity to meet any other way.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggle any photography business has is change. Photography landscape is ever evolving.
Accessories and equipment are constantly changing and it is a constant struggle to continue to master them.
However, the only way you improve is by acquiring new skills or techniques so that the clients can get the best experience.

Nida Rehman | Photography is known for its flash lighting expertise that ensures that every event is captured flawlessly in vivid detail. Is it raining on your wedding day when the forecast called for full sunshine? Not to worry, we have got you covered. We can make any place come to life with our lighting capabilities. Solving challenging lighting situations is our specialty.
In addition we are well loved for our superior customer service. Wedding days can be extremely stressful for both the bride and the groom and sadly the bride and groom stress is on full display which can lead to terrible pictures. We make it a point to get the couple to be comfortable so that we can fully capture all their natural expressions and in the process provide a memorable experience that they will never forget. She has this amazing vision that tells a story and really captures who you are as a couple down to the core. My fiancé and I had our engagement photos done with her and we were blown away with the results. The color, the angles, the lighting, everything was on POINT! Along with the amazing pictures, it was so much fun during the shoot! You can’t help but smile and be excited when you’re around her, which is exactly what you need when you’re taking pictures.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I had great parents who made our childhood beautiful. They exposed us to everything that was there to see and taught us how to appreciate life and have fun!
I do remember the time my brother and I would watch goosebumps every Tuesday under a blanket. Each time a scary part came on we would hide under the blankets. Haha! When I had the opportunity to watch the show with my own kids, it really wasn’t scary at all.
