Check Out Bali Ky’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bali Ky.

Hi Bali , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story starts in 2016 I was inspired to take rap serious after my Childhood Friend Lil Snupe Passed away I went through my own form of artist development at that time I was With Astrogang A Musical group from my Hometown of Jonesboro, La Benji Banx & Dee Jackson is actually where I get my sound from I just developed it into kinda a Electronic hip hop sound. I was in the studio day and night but nobody took me serious at first because I was looked at as a Hypeman So around 2019 I left and moved to Seattle I met a guy by the name of Bako who managed me Then he introduced me to Marshall of Marshal Law Band from there.i was doing shows everyday of the week I ended up back in Louisiana for a couple years after that then in 2020 I started coming to Dallas more and more & every time I came I made connections I learned how to record myself, Mix and master. My own music started doing my own covers and basically learning anything I could so I wouldn’t have an excuse as to why I can’t do it For a few years I was also With Mista Cain who was legendary to me kuz we was always jamming his music that’s where I learned the business side of the music industry and he gave me a lot of game that I still use today

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It ain’t been smooth at all I always could rap but the music was never the struggle. getting people to listen to the music was always my struggle because people would rather laugh at my content then listen to my music I never took it personal but I just always tried to find ways to put the music in they face and give em content also financially doing it on my own I was working two jobs just to fund myself

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m honestly not known for anything I couldn’t tell you the answer to that I’m just a positive person that brings the best out of people. I’m not proud of anything. Because I honestly haven’t accomplished anything I’m still grinding to make a name for myself. My work ethic is what sets me apart

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
