Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Sanders.
Hi Cameron, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My entrepreneurial journey began with a group of close friends. Together, we launched a podcast called MLP 420z, where we discussed everyday life, sports, culture, business, and personal experiences. At the same time, we were building businesses together, purchasing vending machines and securing contracts with warehouses and other companies to place them.
As life took us in different directions, those ventures eventually came to an end. Instead of viewing that as a setback, I saw it as an opportunity to build something that reflected my own purpose and vision. In 2023, I launched F.I.T.T For The Fight Apparel.
The inspiration for the name came from someone I followed for financial and stock market education, Wallstreet Trapper, but I gave it my own meaning. F.I.T.T stands for Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type. While those principles are commonly associated with fitness, I believe they apply to every area of life—whether it’s your faith, physical health, mental growth, career, relationships, or personal goals.
F.I.T.T For The Fight is more than a clothing brand. It’s a mindset and a movement that encourages people to pursue greatness with consistency, discipline, and purpose. My mission is to inspire others to live in purpose, on purpose, and to embrace the daily fight required to become the person they’re called to be.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
That’s a strong angle because it shows you faced real operational challenges, not just creative ones. Here’s a polished response that sounds reflective and professional.
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced my share of challenges, but one of the biggest has been fulfillment. Building a clothing brand is about much more than creating great designs—it’s about delivering a quality experience from the moment a customer places an order until it arrives at their door.
Early on, I had to learn how to streamline the fulfillment process, source quality products, manage inventory, and ensure orders were shipped accurately and on time. In the apparel industry, customers expect both premium quality and fast delivery, so balancing those expectations while growing a business can be difficult, especially as a small business owner wearing multiple hats.
Those challenges taught me the importance of creating efficient systems, paying attention to detail, and never compromising on quality. Every obstacle has helped me improve my operations and better serve my customers. Today, I see those struggles as valuable lessons that have made both me and my brand stronger.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m the founder and creative force behind F.I.T.T For The Fight Apparel, where I personally develop the designs, concepts, and vision behind the brand. I enjoy creating apparel that represents purpose, discipline, and perseverance rather than simply following fashion trends.
Outside of my brand, I’m also an active stock market trader and long-term investor. I’m passionate about financial literacy and spend a lot of time studying the markets, learning new strategies, and helping others better understand investing and wealth building. I also enjoy daily fantasy sports as a hobby because I appreciate the strategy and analytics behind it.
One thing I’m probably known for most is being willing to help others without expecting anything in return. Whether someone is looking to start a business, learn about investing, or simply needs guidance on taking the next step toward their goals, I’m always willing to share what I’ve learned. I don’t charge for advice because I remember what it was like trying to build something from the ground up with limited resources. If I can help someone avoid mistakes, gain confidence, or move one step closer to their goals, that’s a success to me.
At the end of the day, I want to be known not just for building businesses, but for empowering others with the knowledge and mindset to build their own.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe the most important qualities behind my success are faith, discipline, consistency, and a willingness to keep learning. My faith keeps me grounded and reminds me that every opportunity comes with a responsibility to serve others. Discipline allows me to stay committed even when motivation fades, and consistency has taught me that success is built through the small decisions we make every day.
Another quality that’s been essential is resilience. Every entrepreneur faces setbacks, but I’ve learned that challenges are opportunities to grow, adapt, and improve. Whether it’s in business, investing, or building my clothing brand, I’ve never been afraid to learn from failure and keep moving forward.
I also believe in leading with a servant’s heart. I genuinely enjoy helping people without expecting anything in return because I know how difficult it can be to start with very little. If I can encourage someone, share knowledge, or help them avoid mistakes I’ve already made, then I’ve made a meaningful impact. To me, true success isn’t measured only by financial achievements—it’s measured by the lives you influence and the legacy you leave behind.
