Check Out Karina Robledo’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karina Robledo.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into content creation began long before it became Reel.Edit.Co. For years, it was simply something I loved. I enjoyed capturing everyday moments, sharing life updates with friends and family, and connecting with others in a meaningful way.
I never imagined that something I enjoyed so much would grow into a second job. In January 2025, my friend Kelly Jones, a Realtor in Parker County, was beginning her own journey in real estate and wanted to grow her social media presence. As we sat down and talked through her goals, my mind immediately began thinking of creative ways I could help. Together, we came up with a content plan, and that’s when I discovered a whole new world of real estate marketing and social media content that I had no idea existed.
I started with what I had, no fancy equipment, no big business plan, just a willingness to learn, create, and help others. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoyed it. What started as a hobby soon evolved into Reel.Edit.Co.
Today, I work as a content creator, video editor, and social media manager, helping real estate agents, photographers, travel professionals, and small businesses create engaging content, stay consistent online, and connect with their audience in an authentic way.
Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for the encouragement that started it all. I’m still learning and growing every day, but that’s part of what makes this journey so meaningful. Today, I get to combine creativity, strategy, and relationship-building to help clients show up confidently online. It’s rewarding to see something that started with a simple conversation grow into something I truly love. Because let’s be honest, social media isn’t for everyone. That’s where I come in.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey hasn’t always been easy. When I started, I was learning from the ground up. I spent many hours researching, watching tutorials, asking questions, and teaching myself new skills. There was plenty of trial and error, and I’m still learning every day. Building Reel Edit.Co. while working full-time and raising a family required patience not just with the process, but with myself. I learned to embrace progress over perfection and trust that every small step forward was helping me grow. What I may have lacked in experience, I made up for with creativity, determination, and a willingness to keep learning. Looking back, I’m grateful for every challenge because each one has helped shape both my business and my confidence. The learning never stops, and that’s one of my favorite parts of this journey.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I own Reel.Edit.Co., where I help real estate agents and small businesses grow their online presence through social media management, social media marketing, and content creation. My services include weekly and monthly content filming, reel creation, Canva content, behind-the-scenes filming for photographers, and full social media management.
What I’m most proud of is building my business through relationships, referrals, and a genuine passion for helping others. I take the time to understand each client’s brand, personality, and goals so I can create authentic content that truly reflects who they are, not just content that looks good, but content that feels real and connects with their audience.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about the Dallas–Fort Worth area is how it connects so many small towns and communities across North Texas into one growing region. Places like Weatherford, Springtown, and other Parker County areas each have their own personality, but they all feel linked together through opportunity and support.
I also love being able to serve real estate professionals and small businesses in these communities, helping them share their story in a way that feels real, local, and true to who they are while still reaching the wider DFW audience.
