Today we’d like to introduce you to Mackenzie Marler.
Hi Mackenzie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where the western lifestyle has always been a part of who I am. Growing up in a family that was heavily involved in rodeo, I spent my childhood around rodeos (Cheyenne is the home of Cheyenne Frontier Days), country music, and everything that comes with the western industry. Naturally, I fell in love with western fashion at a young age and have always been drawn to the culture, community, and traditions that make it so special.
After high school, I moved to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma State University and compete in track and field. Being a Division I athlete took up most of my time and energy, but it also taught me a lot about hard work, determination, and chasing big goals.
When my track career came to an end, I finally had the chance to fully dive into the things I had always loved outside of sports. I started sharing my passion for western fashion, rodeos, country music, travel, and the western way of life online. What began as simply posting pieces of my everyday life quickly turned into something much bigger. Working with community of people and brands who love the same things I do.
Today, I create content that reflects where I came from and the lifestyle that shaped me. Whether it’s a rodeo weekend, a country concert, western fashion, my goal is to share it in a way that feels authentic and relatable while staying true to my roots. Being able to combine my love for storytelling, western culture, and content creation has been one of the biggest blessings, and I’m excited to continue growing within an industry that has always felt like home.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For so long, sports were such a huge part of my identity, and when that chapter ended, I found myself trying to figure out where I fit in. Like a lot of people, I spent some time trying to keep up with what everyone else was wearing, doing, and posting instead of fully embracing who I was.
But once I stopped worrying about what others might think and leaned into the western fashion and lifestyle I genuinely loved, everything started to change. Opportunities began to open up, brands and people connected with me because I was being authentically myself, and I found a community that shared the same passions.
Looking back, I’m so grateful I chose to stay true to who I am. It has led me to experiences and opportunities I never could have imagined, and I feel beyond blessed to live a life that allows me to celebrate the western culture and lifestyle that have always felt like home.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Over the years, I’ve become known for sharing western fashion, rodeo events, and authentic moments from within the western industry. Content creation has given me the opportunity to combine my love for storytelling with the lifestyle I’ve grown up around, creating content that feels genuine to who I am. Whether I’m at a rodeo, styling a western outfit, traveling, or sharing everyday life, my goal has always been to inspire others while staying true to my roots.
What I’m most proud of isn’t the numbers. It’s the community I’ve built along the way. The relationships I’ve formed with brands, fellow creators, and the people who support and follow my journey are something I’ll always cherish. So many of these connections have turned into genuine friendships and opportunities that I never could have imagined when I first started sharing online.
I believe what sets me apart is my authenticity and personal style. I’ve never wanted to fit into a mold or be someone I’m not. The moment I fully embraced who I was and the western lifestyle I love, everything changed. My audience connects with me because what they see online is who I am in real life, and that’s something I will always value and protect.
