Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Mitchell.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been someone who loves conversation, storytelling, and sharing opinions—whether anyone asked for them or not. Podcasting felt like a natural extension of that. What started as an idea to create a space where I could talk about pop culture, current events, and whatever was living rent-free in my head eventually turned into Charm + Chaos.
Like a lot of creators, I started without having everything figured out. I’ve learned along the way, experimented with different formats, and discovered that the most meaningful content often comes from being authentic rather than trying to fit into a specific box. As the podcast has evolved, so have I. What began as a place to discuss trending topics has grown into a platform where I can share life updates, personal experiences, pop culture commentary, and honest conversations about the things I’m navigating in real time.
Today, Charm + Chaos is a reflection of who I am—equal parts thoughtful, chaotic, curious, and probably overthinking something. It’s a space where listeners can feel like they’re catching up with a friend, and I’m excited to continue growing alongside the podcast and the community that’s formed around it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. I started creating content in 2021, but the idea of starting a podcast didn’t really take hold until 2025. For the longest time, I convinced myself it wasn’t something I could do because I couldn’t imagine why anyone would want to listen to me talk for 45 minutes to an hour.
When I finally decided to take the leap, I started the podcast with my best friend. Having someone alongside me made the process feel a lot less intimidating and gave me the confidence to get started. As time went on, she discovered other passions she wanted to pursue, which meant I had to decide whether I wanted to continue on my own.
That transition was probably one of the biggest challenges because solo podcasting requires a different level of confidence. Suddenly, there wasn’t another person carrying the conversation or sharing the spotlight. I had to trust that my voice, opinions, and experiences were enough.
Looking back, I’m grateful for that challenge because it pushed me to grow both as a creator and as a person. What started as something I wasn’t even sure I was capable of has become one of my favorite creative outlets. In many ways, podcasting has become a form of therapy for me—a space to process life, share stories, and connect with listeners who relate to the same experiences. Sometimes the things that feel the most intimidating end up becoming the things that teach you the most about yourself.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Outside of my full-time career, I’m the creator and host of Charm + Chaos, a podcast that blends personal stories, pop culture, life updates, and honest conversations. What started as a creative curiosity has evolved into a platform where I can connect with listeners in a much more personal way. Over time, I’ve learned that some of the most meaningful conversations happen when you’re willing to be authentic, vulnerable, and occasionally laugh at yourself.
What I’m most proud of is simply starting. For years, I doubted whether anyone would want to listen to me host a podcast, and now it’s become one of the most rewarding creative outlets in my life. Continuing the show as a solo host pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me develop confidence I didn’t know I had.
I think what sets me apart is my ability to balance relatability with authenticity. Whether I’m managing a community, creating content, or recording an episode, my goal is always the same: to make people feel like they’re part of the conversation. Charm + Chaos isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about sharing the real, messy, funny moments of life and creating a space where others can relate to them too.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Outside of my career and podcast, I’m a Pilates instructor, coffee enthusiast, reality TV fan, and a proud Capricorn. I’m originally from Colorado but currently call Texas home, and I’m married to my college sweetheart—we’ll be celebrating 10 years together this September.
If you’ve listened to Charm + Chaos, you probably know that a dirty gin martini is almost always within arm’s reach while I’m recording. It’s become a bit of a signature at this point.
More than anything, I hope readers know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before pursuing something you’re excited about. The podcast exists because I finally stopped waiting until I felt “ready” and decided to start. Some of the best opportunities, experiences, and personal growth come from taking a chance on yourself before you feel completely prepared.
Life is rarely perfectly organized or perfectly planned, and that’s kind of the point. There’s room for both the charm and the chaos.
