Community Highlights: Meet Andreya Padilla of Elegant Beauty Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andreya Padilla.

Hi Andreya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always loved beauty and makeup growing up, but getting into lashes and brows was something I started pretty impulsively. I didn’t really know I was going to be good at it at first—I just knew I wanted to be.

I started working at a lash salon before eventually adding brows about two years later. In the beginning, I really loved the process, and that passion naturally showed in my work. Even while I was still learning, clients were supportive and I kept growing through experience.

Everything shifted when I left the salon and went out on my own. That’s when it really clicked for me and I realized an opportunity had been placed in front of me. I’m a big believer that everything happens for a reason, and I felt like this was something I was meant to do, so I took a leap of faith.

From there, I started building my clientele and growing my business on my own, which is what led me to where I am today

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The hardest part in the beginning was building clientele and figuring out how to stay consistent with income while growing my skills at the same time.

There was actually a point about a year ago where I was very close to shutting my business down. I was barely making ends meet and preparing to go back to a 9–5 job, which was really discouraging after putting so much into my business.

I also had to learn how to push past self-doubt and fully put myself out there, especially on social media. That was something I wasn’t always confident doing at first.

But those challenges ended up pushing me to grow, stay consistent, and trust myself and my path more than ever.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I specialize in lashes and brows, with a strong focus on brow services such as brow lamination, tint, and wax combos, as well as Korean lash lifts. My work is centered around enhancing natural beauty in a soft, detailed, and effortless way that still feels elevated and noticeable.

What I’m known for most is my brow services. Even though I originally started in lashes, my brow work unexpectedly became a signature in my business after I began sharing it on social media. It quickly grew into one of my most requested services and helped shape my brand in a way I didn’t anticipate.

What sets my brand apart is the experience I create for every client. It’s not just about the service itself—it’s about how they feel in my space. I want every client to feel comfortable, seen, and relaxed, like they can truly unwind while they’re here. My goal is always for them to leave feeling more confident than when they walked in.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how my business has grown through consistency, faith, and resilience. There was a point where I wasn’t sure if I would continue, but staying true to my vision and putting myself out there—especially on social media—completely changed the direction of my business.

I want readers to know that my brand is rooted in both quality work and genuine care for my clients. Every service is intentional, detailed, and focused on results that enhance natural beauty while still feeling soft and wearable. My goal is to continue growing my brand, collaborating with brands I truly use and love, and also inspiring other lash and brow artists who are building their own journeys.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think the beauty industry is always evolving, and over the next 5–10 years we’re going to continue seeing a big shift toward more customized, natural, and low-maintenance beauty services. Clients want enhancements that still look like themselves, just elevated.

We’re also going to see even more innovation in techniques and products, especially in lashes and brows, where the focus is becoming more about the health of the natural hair and long-term results rather than overly heavy or one-style-fits-all looks.

For me personally, I love that the industry is always changing. I’m someone who pays attention to new trends and techniques, and I’m not afraid to adapt quickly when I see something that can elevate my work. I’d say I’m a go-getter in that way—if I see something new and it aligns with my brand and my clients, I’m ready to learn it and bring it in
