Today we’d like to introduce you to Brenda White.
Hi Brenda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Hi, my name is Brenda White and I got started in holistic healing with herbs and essential oils in 2001 when my mom got sick. She was having a lot of issues with mobility due to Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. I made her an herbal product that helped her a lot with the pain and reduced the inflammation. When people found out about that product and how much it was helping her, they started placing orders and so my pain and inflammation support oil was my very 1st product. I realized that I had a gift of healing and then the company just grew from there. We started with farmers markets, then a small store at canton 1st Monday. We quickly outgrew the Canton store and a year later we opened our first store in Downtown Garland. We just recently opened our 2nd store in Sulphur Springs, TX. I am certified in essential oils and holistic health. I am a graduate student at ACHS pursuing my degree in Integrative Health with a Concentration in Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy. I am currently offering free consultations.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been challenging. I was doing very well from 2001 to 2005. I went through a life-changing event and had to put the business on hold for a few years, then I was working full-time and attending college, so I did not have much time to expand and grow. In 2019 my youngest daughter Felicia Burns joined me and has successfully grown the business. We grew 800% that 1st year she was with the company. She is now a partner. So far, we have grown the business without outside funding, so it has been challenging due to our growth rate and has required a lot of sacrifices.

We hand make all our aromatherapy products as well as hand blend our own tea blends. We are known for our custom blending, consultations, and tea/custom perfume parties, which set us apart from others. We are proud to utilize organic and kosher materials and pure essential oils. We never use artificial colors or synthetic fragrance oils. We also have a great selection of crystals, stones, handmade crystal & stone jewelry, smudging supplies, and other metaphysical items. Our Pain & Inflammation Support and our Stress, Anxiety, and Depression Support are our customer favorites. They work quickly usually in about 30 minutes.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I believe taking risks are necessary in order to grow. Helping others makes it worth the sacrifice. There is no room for failure!
