Community Highlights: Meet Camden Bailey of Lee-Bailey Studios

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camden Bailey.

Hi Camden, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Camden Bailey and I was born in DFW and raised in Plano, Texas.
After graduating high school in 2014 I went to Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. My time there was invaluable and after graduating in 2018 I travelled back to Dallas. I’ve been back in Texas for the past 8 years working in different industries as a photographer, production artist, and designer.
In 2026 my wife and I started a Photography and Design agency called Lee-Bailey Studios. Our mission is to support local creative communities and clients with images that feel permanent and lasting. We do creative portraits, corporate and professional headshots, and specialize in developing branding for small to medium sized businesses. Give us a call if you or your business needs images that put your best foot forward!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
What’s difficult for everyday people is what makes life hard for artists as well. Rising cost of living, stagnant wages, tumultuous politics, job competition, deepfake images, the list goes on. People (and especially artists) are quite adaptable though. The more creatives organize around their work and help protect each other the better off everyone will be. Our biggest challenge is finding that unifying thing to bring normal people together to solve problems that affect everyone.

We’ve been impressed with Lee-Bailey Studios, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Lee-Bailey Studios is a professional Photography and Design agency based in Dallas, Texas. We specialize in creative portraits, professional headshots, and branding for small to mid sized businesses.
Currently we are a small team, just two artists pooling our experience. We believe that gives us an edge on projects where the client needs to set themselves apart with a clear and decisive vision. Satisfying the constraints of the job is just the first step. We make images that will grow with our clients for years.
Our long term goal is to build a team of fellow artists and designers that is committed to constant development and collaboration. The pursuit of your best work is at the core of being an artist. We value creative energy and what it can become when channeled into the right places.
Lee-Bailey Studios is the vehicle for that dream. My wife Tajah and I are partners in the business and want to build a place for creatives to show their worth. We believe that our culture is long overdue for a resurgence of the arts in every facet of life. And we’ll be there to document it.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Going to Texas VASE art competitions throughout middle and high school. Always a blast to watch your work go through that whole process, get judged and compare scores with your friends. Going to state was like the golden ticket. You got to go on a field trip during school hours and stay in a hotel. The band and theater did all this cool stuff and the visual arts was like the stepchild under the stairs by comparison. Remembering the questions and personalities of the jurors now as a professional is also fun. I wonder often where those people are today and if they’re still involved in the arts. How many of them would guess from the thousands of kids they met who would have ended up still doing it 20 years later.
