Today we’d like to introduce you to Erika Ayala.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started Ayala Balloons & Events six years ago with just a passion for creating beautiful celebrations. What started with balloons has grown into a full event planning, design, and rental company serving clients all over DFW. We’ve been fortunate to grow through referrals, repeat clients, and a lot of hard work. Today, we help clients bring their events to life from start to finish, and I’m excited to keep growing and expanding what we offer.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not. Like most small business owners, there have been a lot of ups and downs. In the beginning, I was doing everything myself while learning as I went. There were long hours, growing pains, staffing challenges, and figuring out how to scale the business without sacrificing quality. Balancing business, family, and being present for my clients has probably been one of the biggest challenges. But every obstacle taught me something, and those experiences helped shape the company into what it is today.

Ayala Balloons & Events is a full-service event planning, design, and rental company serving the DFW area. While many people know us for our balloon installations, we’ve grown into much more than that. Today, we offer event planning, event design, custom backdrops, rentals, and complete event styling for birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, grand openings, and other special celebrations.
What sets us apart is that we truly focus on the client experience. We don’t just decorate an event, we help bring a vision to life while making the process as stress-free as possible. I’m most proud of the relationships we’ve built with our clients. Many of our clients come back year after year and trust us with multiple milestones for their families and businesses, and that means everything to me.
I want people to know that we’re more than balloons. We’re here to help create memorable experiences and beautiful events, whether a client needs a simple setup or full planning and design from start to finish.

I would just like to thank all of our clients, supporters, friends, and family who have been part of this journey over the last six years. Every event we create is built on trust, and I never take that for granted. Being chosen to be part of such important moments in people’s lives is something I truly appreciate. As we begin year seven, I’m excited for what’s ahead as we continue to grow, expand our services, and help create even more memorable celebrations throughout the DFW area.
