Community Highlights: Meet Everett Stephenson of Stage 369

Today we’d like to introduce you to Everett Stephenson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey started at a very young age through creativity, music, and entrepreneurship. Growing up, I was always drawn to creating things that inspired people. One of my earliest memories was starting a singing group as a child, where I wrote songs, taught harmonies, organized performances, and even helped raise money for voice lessons and stage outfits through small community events like snow cone stands, movie nights, and food sales. Looking back, those experiences taught me leadership, teamwork, creativity, and the importance of taking initiative.

As I got older, I continued pursuing entertainment, business, and personal development. I worked in talent development and education while also building my own creative projects and companies. Over time, I founded Stage 369, a multi-layered entertainment and media company focused on storytelling, production, branding, and creative development.

One of the biggest milestones in my career was producing the stage play Karma Has No Lines in 2023, which became a major turning point in my journey as a producer and creative entrepreneur. Another major accomplishment has been becoming a published author of more than 20 books and journals focused on mindset, motivation, self-development, and personal growth.

More recently, I created The Manifest Show under Stage 369 Kids. The Manifest Show is an educational children’s series designed to encourage action, belief, creativity, kindness, and personal growth through music, storytelling, and colorful animated characters like Chloe, Bobo, and Mr. E. The vision behind the series is to create positive children’s programming that empowers young audiences while also entertaining families worldwide.

Building the brand has required persistence, long hours, self-investment, and learning how to navigate multiple industries at once, including animation, music, publishing, branding, and distribution. Along the way, I’ve learned the importance of consistency, faith, and continuing to move forward even when the process is challenging.

Today, my focus is continuing to grow Stage 369 globally through television, streaming platforms, books, music, licensing, and media partnerships. My overall mission is to create impactful content and businesses that inspire people to think bigger, take action on their goals, and realize their full potential.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building multiple businesses and creative projects independently while learning different industries at the same time. Entertainment, publishing, animation, branding, marketing, and production all require different skill sets, and there were many moments where I had to learn through experience, trial and error, and persistence.

Funding has also been a challenge. A lot of people see the finished product, but they don’t always see the amount of time, sacrifice, and self-investment that goes into building something from the ground up. Whether it was producing stage plays, publishing books, creating animation, or building brands, there were seasons where I had to continue believing in the vision before other people fully understood it.

Another challenge has been consistency and patience. Building a long-term brand takes time, especially in media and entertainment. There are delays, unexpected obstacles, technical issues, and moments where things may not move as quickly as you hoped. I’ve learned that success is not just about talent — it’s about discipline, adaptability, and continuing to move forward even when the process gets difficult.

Creating The Manifest Show has also come with challenges because animation and children’s programming require a lot of coordination between voice actors, animators, music, scripts, editing, and distribution. However, those challenges have also helped me grow as a leader and creative entrepreneur.

At the end of the day, every obstacle has taught me something valuable. I believe challenges build character, vision, and resilience, and they’ve helped shape me into the entrepreneur and creator I am today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Stage 369 is a multi-layered entertainment, media, and creative development company focused on storytelling, publishing, production, branding, and inspirational content. The company was created with the vision of building meaningful brands and projects that combine entertainment with empowerment, education, and personal growth.

Under Stage 369, I’ve developed multiple creative projects across books, stage productions, media, and children’s entertainment. One of our fastest-growing brands is Stage 369 Kids, the children’s division behind The Manifest Show, an educational animated series that teaches values like action, belief, creativity, kindness, and imagination through music and storytelling.

What sets Stage 369 apart is that our projects are purpose-driven. We focus on creating content that not only entertains people, but also inspires them to think bigger, become more confident, and take action toward their goals. Whether through books, television, music, or live productions, the goal is always to create something impactful and memorable.

One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is producing the stage play Karma Has No Lines and becoming a published author of more than 20 books and journals focused on mindset and personal development. I’m also proud to continue expanding The Manifest Show and building a brand that families and children can grow with.

As we continue to grow, the vision for Stage 369 is to expand globally through streaming platforms, television, licensing, publishing, and strategic partnerships while continuing to create content that positively impacts audiences around the world.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe one of the most important qualities for success is persistence. Talent and ideas are important, but persistence is what keeps you moving forward when things become difficult, delayed, or uncertain. Every major accomplishment in my journey — from producing stage plays and publishing books to building Stage 369 and creating The Manifest Show — required consistency, patience, and the ability to continue believing in the vision even before results appeared.

Another quality I believe is essential is creativity. I’ve always believed that creativity is one of the greatest forms of problem-solving and innovation. Whether it’s storytelling, branding, music, business ideas, or developing new projects, creativity allows you to turn vision into reality.

Faith and mindset have also played a major role in my success. I strongly believe that the way you think influences the direction of your life. That belief is one of the reasons I’ve written books focused on mindset and personal growth. Challenges are going to happen, but maintaining belief, discipline, and focus helps you continue moving forward.

Lastly, I believe being willing to learn is extremely important. Every stage of growth requires new knowledge, new strategies, and adaptability. I’m constantly learning, evolving, and finding new ways to improve both creatively and professionally.
