Community Highlights: Meet Felisha Beevers of Little Camper Photo Booth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Felisha Beevers.

Hi Felisha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Little Camper Photo Booth began after our own wedding in 2019, when my husband Ross and I saw firsthand how much joy a photo booth could bring to an event. We wanted to create something more memorable than a standard setup, something with personality, nostalgia, and charm. That idea became Little Camper Photo Booth, and in 2020 we officially launched with our first camper, Photo Bomber. Starting a business during COVID came with challenges, but it also taught us to be flexible, resourceful, and intentional from the very beginning.

Since then, Little Camper has grown into a thoughtfully designed collection of photo experiences, including three vintage camper photo booths, with our newest camper created specifically for brand activations, We also offer Open Air Booths, Glam Booths, and Telephone Booths. Each offering has its own personality, from the nostalgia of the campers to the elegance of the Glam Booth and the sentimental keepsake of the Telephone Booth. No matter the setup, our goal is always to create an experience that feels polished, personal, and beautifully tailored to the event.

Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with wonderful corporate partners and be part of events and organizations such as Cattle Baron’s Ball, Grand Entry Gala, the American Heart Association, and more. Those events have been especially meaningful to us because they combine the kind of celebrations we love with causes that make a real impact in the community.

Even with all of that growth, our heart is still the same. We want to help people celebrate, create genuine moments of connection, and give guests something they will remember long after the event is over. Whether it is a wedding, corporate celebration, fundraiser, or private party, we are genuinely grateful to be part of these special moments and to meet so many wonderful people along the way.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been incredibly rewarding, but no, it has not always been smooth. We launched during a very uncertain time for the event industry, so flexibility became part of our story from the beginning.

On a more personal level, one of the biggest challenges has been building this business while raising four children. When we started Little Camper, we had three kids, and I later became pregnant with our fourth while still working events up until just a few weeks before she was born. The event industry is very weekend-heavy, and that means a lot of sacrifice. There have been missed soccer games, birthday parties, family weekends, and plenty of late nights catching up after the kids were asleep.

As a woman-owned and family-run business, I am incredibly proud of what we have built, especially knowing what it has required behind the scenes. Juggling motherhood and a growing business has not always been easy, but we have continued to show up, serve our clients well, and grow year after year. We have booked hundreds of events since launching, including 114 events last year, and now have more than 500 five-star reviews on Google. That kind of consistency means a lot to me because it represents real trust from our clients, not just one good season or one lucky year.

The road has definitely required sacrifice, but it has also made us stronger, more intentional, and more grateful. I think that balance of grit, care, and heart is a big part of what has shaped Little Camper into what it is today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Little Camper Photo Booth?
Little Camper Photo Booth is a woman-owned, family-run photo experience company serving weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, fundraisers, and brand activations throughout North Texas. We are known for creating photo experiences that feel polished, personal, and memorable, while still being fun and approachable for guests.

Our vintage camper photo booths are what first made Little Camper unique, and they remain such a special part of our brand. They bring instant charm and nostalgia to an event, and they naturally become a conversation piece. Since then, we have expanded into a full collection of offerings, including Open Air Booths, Glam Booths, Telephone Booths, and a camper designed specifically for brand activations. Each experience has its own personality, which allows us to serve everything from elegant weddings and black-tie fundraisers to corporate launches, school events, and private parties.

What sets us apart is the level of care we put into both the look and the experience. We think about the full event, not just the booth. Guest flow, setup, design, lighting, print quality, customization, and how the booth fits into the overall atmosphere all matter to us. Our goal is for the photo experience to feel like a natural extension of the event itself, never an afterthought.

What I am most proud of is that Little Camper still feels warm and personal, even as we have grown. We have worked hard to build something that is charming and creative, but also professional, reliable, and elevated. Whether guests are stepping into one of our campers, taking a classic black-and-white glam photo, or leaving a message in our Telephone Booth, we want them to walk away with an experience that feels meaningful and worth remembering.

At the heart of it, we are in the business of helping people celebrate. We love creating experiences that bring people together, make guests feel comfortable, and give our clients something beautiful to look back on long after the event is over.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is my family. Everything I do, personally and professionally, comes back to them.

I grew up in a very underprivileged, low-income home, and I never in a million years imagined that I would one day own a business, much less one that has been so successful for the past 6 years, servicing so many walks of life over the amazing State of Texas. Before starting Little Camper, I had only attended two weddings in my life, and one of them was my own. So to now be trusted with these beautiful, meaningful events still feels very surreal sometimes.

As a mom of four, I care about what my children see in me. I want them to know that the life we are building did not just happen. It has come from hard work, sacrifice, late nights, missed weekends, and a lot of moments where we had to figure things out as we went. I want them to grow up knowing that you can start with very little and still build something you are proud of.

My older two children will occasionally come with me to events when it makes sense, and I love that they get to see the business from the inside. They see how we tow the campers, load in, set up, interact with guests, handle timelines, and make sure everything feels polished and seamless for the client. My hope is that once they are old enough, they can step into the role of trusted attendants for us, not just because they are my kids, but because they have grown up understanding the level of care, professionalism, and work ethic this business requires.

That is a big part of why Little Camper matters so much to me. It has given me a way to show my children resilience, creativity, ownership, and the value of doing things with care. I want them to see that achievement is not about luck or having everything handed to you. It is about showing up, working hard, treating people well, and believing that you are capable of more than what you may have grown up seeing.

At the end of the day, my family is my why. They are the reason I keep going, the reason I keep growing, and the reason I care so much about building something meaningful.
