Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Davis.
Hi Ashley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story really starts with my family foundation — my father was an entrepreneur, and watching him build something of his own while still being present for our family planted a seed in me early on. I always knew I wanted that same freedom for myself.
My career began behind the scenes in television production, where I worked on shows like Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and Love & Hip Hop LA. That experience taught me something invaluable — how to find the story within the story, and more importantly, what makes people stop and pay attention. It shaped how I think about content, connection, and community to this day.
From there, I built a career as a flight attendant — a role that gave me the gift of perspective, seeing cities through fresh eyes constantly. It also gave me the freedom to build. I became a licensed realtor in California, launched a social media presence rooted in lifestyle and local discovery, and created Noiré Social — a singles community turned social club built around meaningful experiences, not just nights out. Think sporting events, curated mixers, and moments that actually bring people together.
A year ago, I made the move to Dallas — and this city matched my energy immediately. I brought everything with me: my eye for content, my love of community, and my reputation for knowing where to go and where to be. Today I’m a full-time flight attendant, a lifestyle content creator, and a connector of people and places in Dallas. I highlight local restaurants, spas, events, and businesses — because I genuinely believe in this city and the people building it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not even a little — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
From a young age, I was uprooted from everything I knew when my family moved from California to Atlanta. And then we kept moving. New cities, new schools, new people — over and over again. At the time it was hard, but looking back, it built something in me that no classroom could. I can walk into any room, any city, and connect with people instantly. That’s not a skill I learned — it’s one I lived.
As an adult, the challenges kept coming — layoffs, career pivots, being priced out of the California rental market, and stretches of living paycheck to paycheck. There were moments that would have stopped a lot of people. But every single one of those moments pushed me further into the person I’m becoming.
I’ve switched careers more than once, and I used to wonder if that made me inconsistent. Now I see it clearly — I was just collecting pieces. Everything I’ve been through was preparing me for exactly where I am today. I was meant to go through it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Dallas-based lifestyle content creator known for being the go-to person for what’s happening in the city at any given time. From major events, festivals, and pop-ups to singles mixers, social experiences, and new restaurant openings, I stay tapped into the culture of Dallas in real time and share it in a way that helps people actually experience the city, not just scroll past it.
My content focuses on showcasing my lifestyle and the lifestyle of the city around me. My audience comes to me because I don’t just talk about experiences, I actively live them and curate them in a way that helps others feel included, informed, and inspired to get out and enjoy life.
What I’m working toward is evolving that lifestyle expertise into real estate—becoming a Dallas realtor who understands not just properties, but people and how they want to live. My goal is to be the person who can meet someone once, understand their personality, priorities, and lifestyle, and immediately know where in Dallas they would feel most at home—whether that’s a neighborhood, apartment, or community that fits their energy.
To me, real estate is the natural extension of what I already do: understanding lifestyle at a deep level, knowing the city inside and out, and guiding people toward experiences and spaces that actually fit who they are.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are so many ways to connect with me and I genuinely love building with people — so here’s how:
Follow along. The easiest way to support me is to follow me on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — all under @iamashleydavis. I’m constantly sharing Dallas life, hidden gems, local businesses, and everything in between.
Small businesses. If you’re a local Dallas business — a restaurant, spa, event space, studio — and you’d love to be featured, reach out. I’d love to help tell your story. Email me at [email protected].
Noiré Social. My social club is growing and Dallas is the next chapter. Follow us at @NoireSingles and subscribe to our newsletter on our website — memberships are coming and I want you on the inside when they drop.
And if you’re thinking about moving to Dallas — whether it’s this year or down the road — get in touch now. I’ll be a licensed Dallas realtor later this year and I’m already building my client list. Send me an email at [email protected] and let’s start the conversation early so you’re first in line when the time comes.
