Conversations with Charles Williams

Today we’d like to introduce you to Charles Williams.

Hi Charles, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story starts in college at Prairie View A&M Studying Criminal Justice. Back in 09 I started while still in school, I began studying various martial arts. ranging from Taekwondo to Boxing, Muay Thai, and BJJ. I trained on and off for another 4 years. 2013 that is when I started taking My Fight career seriously. I First caught wind of the power of media when it was time for me to have my first media day my pro debut. My Brother Fly Stevie shot my first promo video. from there I fell in love with Media Production. I took my Fight moniker The BodyguardMMA, and flipped it to BodyguardTV when I was in my early stages. The next steps for me would be to Learn the skills needed to become a full scale Production company. I Started in the camera department, then the editing bay, and then to the lighting department, and I currently in my audio production phase. Over the stretch of 2020 to 2026 I have amassed a huge amount of skills and equipment to Provide any service in the Media space. I built my Company around a basic code and Good Customer Service. My first note worthy piece of content was for my best friend and now Business Partner Rod Cox otherwise known as Dallas Food Critic. That was previously my highest viewed video, at 27k views on Youtube. Since then I have produce a massive catalog of videos, photos, and graphic designs. I learned the power of Media from being the talent. I understood it’s importance and the feeling it gives one who is featured. I based my entire business philosophy around that principle. BodyguardTV is place of comfort, acceptance and comfort to all those who are willing to work with me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well I can’t say it’s been smooth but, I can say its been comfortable. I tend to Thrive where there is competition and risk. I’d say the most difficult thing for me would be the public visibility part. in terms of the constant need to be in the public eye networking. I’d like to think I’m Personable but it just tends to be pretty draining watching the drama I am surrounded by, never a part of it but it unfortunately indirectly affects my connections. Another big one is knowing the decision makers they tend to want to remain hidden until they choose one of us.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I Specialize in Podcasting Production that is my Bread and Butter I love it so much be cause I am a to use all of my Skills to produce long form engaging content for the consumers to enjoy.

I’m Known for my Speed of implementation there is No one Faster with a Higher Quality, and that’s because of the amount of reptations I have put in, in this short 6 year period.

I am most proud of What my organization has been able to build starting with such limited experience. we have truly been able to accomplish a lot with very little.

What sets me apart is my Code of Ethics, I call them my (Five Tenets.) I have a strict code that I live by and I refuse to compromise on it for anyone or anything. I am transparent, strong, direct with a natural ability detect feelings and anticipate the needs of my team and others around me.
