Hi Charlette, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
All I was trying to do is inspire people to keep going and let them know that they can make it with God so I was already doing videos and I was like what else what else what else do I need to do and that thing was write a book so for my 30th birthday I had my first book done and that was in 2015. Many doors open when I had the book that wasn’t there before from Speaking engagements to mentorship programs I wasn’t expecting all of that from having a book then I started helping other individuals get self published on Amazon and now I have a teen program that create Authors speakers and entrepreneurs. And of course, I am all three as well. My keynote Speaking topic is “Walking in Victory” where I share strategies that expands and or transform business and personal life. The book that I am promoting currently is:
The IT Factor. It’s a guided journal that has steps to walk in Victory!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the hardest things for me was marketing myself. I had no skills in doing that. The funny thing now is I have platforms that help authors speakers and entrepreneurs market themselves! Huge learning curve for me. I feel like it’s vital for the book business. We have an upcoming book fair August first for book lovers, families, friends, and kids to enjoy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I like to say I’m everything books! So if you need your book published, I can do it for you. If you wanna know how to do it yourself, I have a course on it. No matter your age you can get it done. Let’s be clear. I do not write the book for the person.. It’s been time in my career where people thought that I will help them. Write the book and that’s what I don’t do. My job is to get your book done and show you how to promote yourself and have a real book business. I created a platform called B.A.M. acronym for Books and Money conversations. We are set to be the number one book signing platform for authors. It’s good for individuals who sell publish and need help getting their book message out. It’s for people who wrote the book and got the book sitting on a shelf somewhere and also for people who have never had a book signing because they just simply did not know what to do because they didn’t have the confidence to talk about their book. People need to hear their story so they can make a great impact. That’s what I am here for. I’m all about impact and why we impacting let’s get you some income.
What else do I do? We have the program Real Life Changers as well doing the same thing but for youth. We even do book writing workshops as well! So we work with church groups, schools and organizations students to create youth authors between the ages of 11 to 18! It is so exciting and rewarding!
