Today we’d like to introduce you to Deanna.
Hi Deanna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am married to the love of my life for 20 years, and we have 3 grown children and 4 beautiful granddaughters. We moved to Weatherford in 2021 to be closer to our 1st granddaughter. As a mother of 3, family is very important to me and we wanted to be an active part of our granddaughters life here in Weatherford.
I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 23 years, working in many areas of nursing but most of my background has been critical care. In 2017, I started to explore the world of aesthetics, took my first certification class and found my true passion where nursing, wellness, artistry, and beauty all come together. After working through Covid I became very frustrated as a nurse and began praying about leaving the bedside to become an entrepreneur and open my own business and in 2022 I opened Radiant Aesthetics. God gave me the name of my business right away coming from a bible verse that has meant a lot to me Psalms 34:5 which says “Those who look to Him are Radiant.” I therefore became the Radiant Injector. Working out of a single room inside of a hair salon, I built my clientele one patient at a time while having a vision and dream in my heart of a full service MedSpa.
I quickly outgrew that small room and moved into a larger space where God allowed my dreams to come true.
Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. I believe I was called to nursing, and that same calling drives me today as I help my patients look and feel their very best. My approach is rooted in safety, integrity, and a commitment to natural, regenerative treatments that enhance your unique beauty. To ensure the highest level of care, l dedicate countless hours and money each year to advanced training, including cadaver labs and master injection courses. My goal is to continuously sharpen my skills so I can deliver the safest and most effective results possible. I am proud to bring big-city expertise to the Westoplex-so that people don’t have to travel far for exceptional care.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s definitely been a journey but it’s a journey that I’ve enjoyed and that I’ve grown through. I think The biggest struggle has been the business side of things and handling that as I’ve grown. I’m a very clinical person and business is not one of my strengths. My husband joined the team in 2025 and became our practice manager and that has allowed me to just focus on doing what I love and what I’m good at while he manages the business which has taken a huge burden off my shoulders. He managed a successful business of his own for over 10 years and brought valuable experience to our team. We have worked well together in the past and I knew we would make a great team. Since joining Radiant Aesthetics he has made many improvements while keeping things running smoothly and efficiently so that our patients can have a seamless experience.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in facial balancing which is something that is hard to find in Parker County. Aesthetics has become very popular. Everybody wants to be an injector but most just stop their education with a simple weekend Botox certification course.
To ensure the highest level of care and true natural artistry, l dedicate countless hours every year of my personal time away from my family and invest my own money into advanced trainings, including cadaver labs and master injection courses to learn how to be better because this industry is constantly changing and you have to keep up if you want to evolve with current practices and be the best. My goal is to continuously sharpen my skills so I can deliver the safest and most natural results possible. Understanding of facial aging is complex and deep and requires an advanced skill set to provide results that look natural. I believe this is something that truly sets me apart in this industry. Your injectables should be undetectable and that only happens in the hands of a skilled, advanced injector with a deep understanding of facial anatomy.
What I do here at Radiant Aesthetics is more than injections. It’s really a ministry to me. It’s about loving people the way God loves me. Seeing people the way God sees them. Unique, beautiful and one of a kind. I have created a space where women feel safe, valued, and confidence is restored. I believe that everyone is naturally beautiful and unique, but I also understand that some people have insecurities that can hold them back in their life. My purpose here at Radiant Aesthetics is to enhance natural beauty and help give women the confidence they deserve so they can leave my medspa feeling truly radiant!
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
My husband and I prayed about him leaving his full time job and joining me at Radiant Aesthetics as well as hiring more nurses and expanding for over a year. It was a big decision that we did not take lightly but once we made the decision to follow through with those plans it actually turned out better than we ever expected and God has blessed us beyond measure. Our business has flourished and grown and we are now opening a 2nd location in another town. My husband brings a diverse background to his role and has definitely earned the title of The Radiant Husband. We took a big a risk for him to leave his job, his retirement, and his benefits to come and work full time with me and we have no regrets!
