Today we’d like to introduce you to Evan Jones.
Hi Evan , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m an entrepreneur, a husband, and a father—but at my core, I’m a builder. Not just in the physical sense, but in the way I create pathways, opportunities, and spaces for people to grow.
I own and operate Sainte Studios, a creative hub where artists come to bring their ideas to life. I also serve as the music director for Full Counsel in Pine Bluff, where I help shape the sound and culture of our worship experience. Beyond music, I work in the construction industry with WE Center WE Build, an initiative focused on blending apprenticeship training, workforce development, and affordable home manufacturing—primarily serving at-risk youth and underserved communities.
My role spans a wide range of responsibilities—from vocational training and mentorship to land acquisition, web design, framing, and contract services. It’s a unique intersection of creativity and structure, art and infrastructure, vision and execution.
At first glance, some people are surprised by the combination of paths I’ve taken and wonder how it all connects. I started with a degree in music performance, later became a residential contractor, and also worked as a real estate agent. What might seem like separate lanes were actually building blocks. Each experience opened doors, created relationships, and sharpened skills that ultimately converged into the work I’m doing today.
Now, everything I touch—whether it’s music, housing, or education—is rooted in the same mission: to build people, so they can help rebuild communities.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been easy at all. I constantly have to try the find the balance between grounding myself in my faith and spirituality, being present for my family and my need for progression and achievement in my career and on my journey as an entrepreneur. Besides that, I’ve constantly had to wrestle with self doubt and people pleasing, feeling like I’m not good enough or even questioning the motives of those around me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an artist/producer. So in this area, my work consists of bringing musical projects to life, seeing them through from ideation/conception to completion. This includes songwriting, providing instrumentation and arranging, mixing and mastering and helping artist tell a cohesive story from verse to hook, song to song. I’m most proud of my ability to provide my clients with the same type of end product that can sonically and contextually compete with mainstream label releases. What sets me apart from others is my ability to take the most unlikely, material and make something truly beautiful with it
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned so far is that everything worth having is worth going the extra mile for.
