Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriel Montgomery.
Hi Gabriel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been the planner among my friends, even from a young age, so stepping into the world of events felt like a natural progression. More than 13 years ago, I launched Alltogatherlovely, planning baby showers, special events, and gatherings for the restaurant where I worked, along with other small celebrations.
After becoming pregnant with my second child, my husband encouraged me to leave my corporate job and stay home with our growing family. In 2018, a friend asked me to coordinate her cousin’s wedding, and that opportunity changed everything. I immediately fell in love with weddings, the energy, the creativity, the logistics, and the privilege of serving couples during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives. From that moment on, Alltogatherlovely became solely focused on weddings.
When COVID arrived, our family relocated to North Carolina, and I intentionally paused the growth of the business. By God’s grace, I only lost one client during that challenging season, but expansion was not my focus. After returning to Texas the following year, I hit the ground running. The post-COVID wedding boom provided incredible opportunities for growth, and during that time I made what turned out to be one of the best decisions for our company: adding floral design services. What began as an expansion quickly became one of my greatest creative passions.
In 2022, Lauren joined the team, bringing the same enthusiasm, dedication, and vision that I have always had for the company. She has supported every ambitious idea with unwavering commitment, and together we have continued to dream bigger. Since then, we’ve expanded our offerings, grown into two distinct companies, and built incredible relationships with local venues and industry partners throughout North Texas.
Today, we are continuing to grow with a vision of building a larger team and securing a dedicated studio space that can support our large-scale floral productions while also providing an intimate and welcoming environment for client meetings and planning sessions.
Looking back, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunities, relationships, and blessings the Lord has entrusted to us. What began as a passion for planning has grown into something far beyond what I could have imagined, and I am excited to see what He has in store for the next season of Alltogatherlovely and Abound Design Co. The best is still ahead.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing worth having comes easy. The reality is that growth, discipline, and perseverance are inseparable from success. Looking back, though, I wouldn’t change a thing. Every difficult client, unexpected wedding day challenge, broken process that needed refining, and obstacle we’ve faced has taught us valuable lessons. Each experience has helped us grow stronger, build better systems, and serve our clients with greater passion, wisdom, and capacity.
One of the biggest challenges of business ownership is finding balance. When you’re passionate about what you do, it’s easy for work to spill into every area of life. Over the years, I’ve learned that sustainable growth requires more than hard work, it requires the right people and the right systems. Building a strong team and creating processes that allow you to delegate effectively is essential, not only for the health of the business but for your personal well-being and family life as well.
This is an area we’re actively investing in and continuing to develop. As our company grows, we’re committed to creating the infrastructure that will allow us to serve our clients at an even higher level while maintaining the values and culture that have always been at the heart of who we are. Every challenge has prepared us for the next season, and we’re excited about where that journey is leading.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At the heart of what we do is creating beautiful, meaningful wedding experiences that allow our couples to be fully present on one of the most important days of their lives. Through Alltogatherlovely and Abound Design Co., we provide wedding planning, design, floral artistry, and curated rentals, offering a seamless experience from the initial vision all the way through execution.
We specialize in elevated, personalized weddings that feel intentional, refined, and deeply reflective of each couple’s story. While beautiful flowers and thoughtful design are certainly a hallmark of our work, what we’re truly known for is creating an experience that feels effortless for our clients. We are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, allowing couples and their families to enjoy the celebration rather than worry about the logistics behind it.
What I am most proud of isn’t a specific wedding or milestone—it’s the reputation we’ve built. Our clients trust us with some of the most important moments of their lives, and that trust is something we never take lightly. I’m proud that many of our relationships extend beyond the wedding day and that we’ve built strong partnerships within the local wedding industry based on integrity, professionalism, and genuine care for others.
What sets us apart is our servant-hearted approach. We believe exceptional service goes beyond delivering beautiful events; it’s about anticipating needs, solving problems before they arise, and treating every client, vendor, and venue partner with respect and kindness. We strive to lead with excellence while remaining approachable and authentic.
As a Christ-centered company, our faith influences how we serve, how we lead our team, and how we build relationships. We value integrity, humility, hard work, and stewardship in everything we do. Those values have shaped our culture and have been the foundation of our growth over the years.
Most importantly, we care deeply about people. Beautiful weddings are what we create, but serving others well is the true purpose behind everything we do. That commitment to excellence, relationships, and genuine care is what continues to set us apart and fuels our excitement for the future.
What were you like growing up?
I have always embodied classic first-child energy, responsible, driven, and eager to excel. I was the kid who rarely got into trouble, always wanted things done well, and secretly loved being recognized for hard work and achievement. Looking back, many of the qualities that shape who I am today were evident from a very young age.
I’ve always been creative at heart. Whether it was acting, decorating, crafting, or dreaming up events, I was constantly finding ways to express creativity. In high school, I received the Best Actress award and spent countless hours rearranging and painting my room simply because I loved creating beautiful spaces. I planned a surprise 1920s-themed birthday party for my childhood best friend and hosted Friendsgiving gatherings complete with thoughtful details like fall foliage place cards long before Pinterest-worthy events became the norm.
Even then, I found myself dreaming about owning a wedding planning business one day. It felt like an impossible dream at the time, after all, that couldn’t be a “real” career, could it? Yet I couldn’t stop imagining what it would be like to create meaningful celebrations for others.
Outside of my creative pursuits, I loved spending time with family and friends, listening to music, doing crafts, playing board games, and watching Christmas movies. In many ways, I am still that same person today, just with a lot more life experience, a deeper appreciation for what matters most, and four wonderful children who keep life full and meaningful.
My faith has always been the foundation of my life. I grew up serving in church, participating in ministry trips, and learning the importance of serving others. Today, my relationship with Jesus isn’t simply part of who I am, it shapes every aspect of my life, my family, and my business. It influences how I lead, how I serve clients, and how I approach every opportunity I’ve been given.
When I look back, it’s easy to see how all those seemingly small moments, the creativity, the love of gathering people together, the attention to detail, the heart for serving others, were preparing me for the work I do today. What once felt like a distant dream has become a reality, and I am incredibly grateful for the journey that brought me here.
