Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Wheeler.
Hi Mark, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
At Exalt Recovery & Wellness, we pride ourselves on being a husband-and-wife team dedicated to transforming the health and wellness landscape for our community. With a shared passion for holistic healing and personal wellness, we have combined our expertise to create a unique and comprehensive service that brings wellness directly to the clients doorstep. We both carry NASM certifications in Wellness Coaching, Nutrition, and Mind & Body Well-being.
Our one-of-a-kind mobile van offers a range of services designed to promote recovery, rejuvenation, and overall well-being in a comfortable and private setting. As owners and operators, we are deeply invested in the success of our clients, providing personalized care and guidance tailored to individual needs. Our primary therapy involves the Exalt Protocol, which is the base of our approach to body healing, recovery and rejuvenation. Together, we strive to foster a supportive environment where everyone can achieve their health goals and experience the benefits of a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being a new business we have encountered some small hurdles, but the therapies we provide have helped heal people which speaks for itself. Our market in Granbury is very rural and spread out so with our mobile service we are able to reach those that may not have ever gone to a brink and mortar type location. We have seen increased growth by working with local gyms and physical therapist offices. We continue to learn what works and what doesn’t. Traditional advertising has proven to be less rewarding, so we have had to find ways to generate outreach. That is probably our biggest struggle.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Both my wife and I have a passion for health and wellness. We feel balance is the key to success. As practitioners we have taken on the roll as “experts” in what we are applying. We continue to learn and find credentials that make sense for our wellness business. Our primary goal is to bring preventative care to everyone. We believe that “bio-hacking” is in the infancy of its life span and we want to be on the leading edge of whatever that means for the future. As we focus on cellular healing, we find more and more people simply need to incorporate general wellness mindsets into their routines. We have experienced the benefits of what we do personally and to see it foster in others is very rewarding. We have changed the lives of a few clients that have had serious health concerns and to see their families watch them change is amazing. And of course our mobile service is what separates us from the pack. Being able to come to the client is a no-brainer.
What are your plans for the future?
We are at a point in time where we will be bringing on staff to assist us with our daily operations. The long term outlook is adding another van in the near future and then eventually making plans to begin franchising the business.
