Hi Bri, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey to starting B. Aligned Co. began through a decade of working in marketing, product marketing, and marketing operations for companies such as Microsoft, Indeed, Hubspot, Avalara, Verily, and Intuit. Throughout my career, I loved helping businesses grow, but I noticed that many struggled with disconnected systems, inefficient processes, and marketing efforts that weren’t fully aligned behind the scenes.
That inspired me to create B. Aligned Co., a consultancy focused on helping founders and growing businesses streamline their marketing operations, automate processes, and build systems that support long-term growth. My mission is simply to help businesses create alignment between their goals, strategy, and execution so they can scale with confidence.
As an entrepreneur, wife, and mom, I’ve come to appreciate the power of having the right systems in place, not just in business, but in life. Today, B. Aligned Co. allows me to combine my corporate expertise with my passion for entrepreneurship while helping other business owners build businesses that are both successful and sustainable.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In addition to building B. Aligned Co., as I mentioned, I’m also a wife, a mom to a young daughter, the founder of Eight Phazes jewelry, and I continue to take on marketing consulting and contract opportunities. Balancing multiple roles and responsibilities has been one of the biggest challenges along the way.
I’ve learned the importance of prioritizing, creating systems, and giving myself grace when things don’t go perfectly. What keeps me motivated is my genuine passion for marketing and helping businesses grow. I love solving problems, streamlining processes, and creating strategies that make an impact.
While the journey hasn’t always been so plain and simple, every challenge has helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I’m grateful for the experiences that have shaped my experience as a marketer and an entrepreneur.

At my core, I’m a marketer, entrepreneur, and problem solver. Professionally, I’ve spent my career helping companies grow through marketing strategy, product marketing, marketing operations, automation, and customer journey optimization. I’ve had the opportunity to work with organizations ranging from startups to global companies like Microsoft, Indeed, Hubspot, Avalara, Verily, and Intuit, helping teams create more effective and scalable marketing programs.
Outside of my corporate career, I’m also the founder of Eight Phazes, a jewelry brand created to help women express confidence and embrace every phase of life through timeless, affordable accessories. Building Eight Phazes has given me the opportunity to combine my love of creativity, branding, e-commerce, and customer experience.
What I’m most proud of is my ability to bridge both the analytical and creative sides of business. Whether I’m building marketing systems through B. Aligned Co. or growing a consumer brand through Eight Phazes, I enjoy turning ideas into experiences that connect with people and drive meaningful results.
I believe what sets me apart is my unique combination of corporate marketing expertise and hands-on entrepreneurial experience. I don’t just teach strategy, I actively apply it every day while building brands of my own, which gives me a practical perspective on what it takes to grow and scale a business.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I consider myself a calculated risk-taker. I’ve learned that growth often requires stepping outside of your comfort zone, but I believe the best risks are backed by preparation, hard work, and a willingness to adapt.
Throughout my career, I’ve taken several risks, including pursuing contract opportunities with leading companies, launching my jewelry brand Eight Phazes, and building B. Aligned Co. while balancing family life and motherhood. None of those decisions came with guarantees, but each one allowed me to grow professionally and personally.
My perspective on risk is that it’s often less about taking a leap and more about having the courage to bet on yourself. Some opportunities may not work out exactly as planned, but every experience teaches you something valuable. The biggest risk, in my opinion, is letting fear prevent you from pursuing something you’re passionate about.
Many of the opportunities and accomplishments I’m most proud of today came from taking a chance, staying adaptable, and trusting the process.
