Daily Inspiration: Meet Brianna Tucker

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Tucker.

Hi Brianna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have always loved photography, but I really got started in college when my friends asked me to take some photos of them and then by word of mouth I grew my business from there and jumped head first in to it. I went to Tarleton State University and got a degree in Agricultural Communication where I took classes including a Photography class. Since then I started a career in the Western Industry as the Marketing Manager and Photographer for Twisted X Global Brands while also running my own freelance photography and marketing business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have been very blessed with the opportunities I have been given and can’t say I have had too many struggles beyond just the everyday struggles of coordinating everything and late nights and early mornings to make everything work.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the Marketing Manager and Photographer for Twisted X Global Brands and also run my own freelance photography and marketing business. I have also recently started real estate investing. I specialize in Western Lifestyle and Brand work, but I like to broaden my horizon and don’t stick to a niche. I photograph everything from families and seniors to brand work and concerts and rodeos. I think what sets me a part is I strive to create opportunities for people to model for me and feel there best as much as I can. I have a wide variety of things that I photograph and that’s not very common. I could be photographing a stock show or rodeo one day and then a brand the next day and then a senior the next day. Always something different. I am really proud of the experience and effort I put into my clients and the reach that my photography has had. I have gotten to photograph people like Jefferson White from Yellowstone and icon Barry Corbin.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
The advice I would give someone is practice, practice, practice. That is the best thing you can do as a photographer. I am still learning to this day after doing this professionally for almost 10 years. Also never assume and always set expectations. Be kind and make people feel comfortable around you. Communication is key! Take any and every opportunity cause you never know where it will lead and surround yourself with people who will speak your name in a room full of opportunity.
