Today we’d like to introduce you to Chan’tal Lewis
Hi Chan’tal, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am 32 years old and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2019 from Jackson, Mississippi. When the world paused in 2020, I used that time to create engaging activities with my followers on social media. This resulted in an increased following and gave me the courage to release my podcast, @TheGlassMic , which was very successful.
I did delivery gig services and discovered many hidden gems, which inspired me to take my media project to the next level. In 2024, I was given that opportunity and transitioned from having thought-provoking conversations with guests to visually sharing my point of view of events and experiences. From restaurant openings, charity events, fashion shows, to launch parties, the individuals and brands I showcase have no limits.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My dream was put on pause as I went through a divorce later that same year in 2020. I used that time to rediscover myself and my purpose.
I enjoyed putting the energy that I eagerly gave to others into myself. Over four years, I lost over 70lbs naturally by changing my environments, engaging in self-care activities, therapy, physical activities, and balancing Whole Foods and yummy treats.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
The Glass Mic provides unique perspectives and inside looks into noteworthy individuals and brands. Our Point Of View exhibition gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Society & Culture as we explore and share foods, lifestyles, and experiences through visual storytelling and conversations.
